Travelled to Diveagar in March 2019 with spouse and 3 year old son and had a very pleasant and memorable stay at Coast Ecotel. The hotel is a large bungalow with 5 rooms in the main bungalow and 2 cottages a little far away within the bungalow compound. The rooms are large and spacious and have a good homely feel to them. The overall bungalow is quite large and has a lot of common spaces where family members and kids can hang out. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice, comfortable place for family.

Room quality, space and comfort: Good spacious rooms with air conditioning, 24 hours hot water, television.

Staff & Hospitality: All the staff members including the manager make you feel right at home and are there for your service with a smile. This is one area that this place really excels in and kudos to the staff and management in this regard. Hospitality and service can beat any grand 5 star hotel.

Food: Considering that this places manages a max of 7 rooms and has peaks and troughs in the demand, I must commend the management that they keep a live in-house kitchen and chef who dish out tasty homely fairs for the guests. There is limited variety available but the quality and quantity of the many items is top notch. Would highly recommend their chicken curry and fish fries for non veg and bhindi fry and aloo jeera for veg options.

Some suggestions for management: Will be great to add a children’s play area with a slide and swing at the minimum.

We had booked 2 rooms here much in advance in order to ensure we get a decent place to stay. Diveagar although has a lot of home-stay options. Almost every other row-house on a street would offer a room to stay.

Coast Ecotel is a good hotel to stay at, considering it's proximity to the beach. Just about a 2-3 minutes walk, from the backyard of the hotel. Referring to the reviews available on other travel websites, we kind of knew that the hotel has very few rooms and thus hoped we would get a real good treatment and attention over here and the staff really ensured our estimation was true. The best part about the hotel, apart from the clean rooms, good view, good food is the staff. They really took care of all our needs. Room service is prompt and so is the staff at the restaurant.

Mr. Sukumar who was managing things during our stay is a very good gentleman who ensured everything was up to the mark. He's doing a great job.

We only felt that their menu was a bit limited. They should consider adding items like Pasta or Pizza and some more sandwiches to add a little more variety.

Overall, our stay was a memorable one. I would definitely want to recommend this hotel to people who are visiting Diveagar.

Stayed in this resort for the 26th Jan weekend with my family. this isnt my first visit to Diveagar but it surely was my best stay. A true home away from home. The bungalow is very tastefully done & extremely well maintained.

The staff is very helpful, well trained & always smiling. They will go beyond limits to make sure your stay is comfortable. The food was super awesome, the chef made it as per our taste.

My kids had a blast as there was a lot of place to play. The rooms are very spacious & well maintained. They have 5 rooms in the bungalow & 2 rooms in the huts. The beach is hardly 7-10 mins walk from the resort. Do take the path from the resort to the beach as it is quite peaceful. the main entry to the beach had too much crowd due to the water sports.

There is nothing I can complain about. This is my fixed place for all my future trips to Diveagar. Though it is more costly that the other resorts around but its worth it. Really had a blast
