Basic but clean and reasonably priced for lovely Villamoura. Some villas have been refurbed but others are a bit tired. If you book direct wirth owners you can get good deals especially if you are booking two villas. Long walk to marina and even further to the beach so a car essential.

We arrived on a Saturday evening about 9.30pm. Our party was 3 friends and a 4 year old . We arrived to complete darkness and our villa key stuck to the door of the closed reception. After finding our way to the villa over bumpy poor lit grounds we were pleasantly surprised by the space and cleanliness of the villa. Unfortunately the bar and bistro was closed so we had to drive into town to get some dinner. The pool has enough sun beds however no umbrellas apart from 2 by the baby pool. The pool and area around it was very clean. The bar / bistro staff were very unwelcoming and ignored us on one occasion whilst we were waiting to be served. The reception staff ( when it was open) were friendly, ( the bistro/ bar is owned separately to the villa complex). The grounds of the complex are tired and need some care but it did appear that the villas were being painted during our trip. The beds were not very comfortable and pillows not great. It is a 45 min walk into town, the marina and town of Vilamoura is lovely with lots of bars and restaurants.

What would improve this complex it would be if there was a member of staff to greet you on arrival and escort you to your villa, more umbrellas/cushions at the pool, bit more info about local shops/ restaurants. On our last night we found a couple within walking distance. The villa complex felt very quiet and there were only a few guests during our stay, mainly golfers. If you are looking for a budget holiday then this villa complex is fine but we wouldn’t return.

Just had a lovely relaxing 11 night stay. Accommodation (two bed superior apartment) was very clean and spacious and couldn't be faulted given the cost. Bathroom and shower excellent, clean with good water pressure and very very hot ! Air con in all rooms but you probably don't need it. Kitchen well stocked with new appliances and all you need. Towels replaced regularly. Pool and bar very good and well kept., loads of sun beds, although not too many parasols. Bus to the Marina and Albufeira about 2 to 4 euros each way respectively and every half an hour but not often on time and service finishes early evening. Taxis are quite pricey - typically ten euros in to town. Walk to Vilamoura is quite nice through the pedestrianised/cycle route and takes a pleasant 45mins. Recommend Falesia beach which is around the Marina to the right through the boat yard. Tony's bar and the Tai Tai Chinese on the Marina are excellent. Take a brolly for the beach as sun beds are pricey. Alcohol on resort is as cheap as airport.
Reception is open during limited hours so be prepared to find your accommodation unassisted, although it shouldn't be too difficult. Plenty of local Spar shops., one just around the corner. English Tea bags hard to find, if this is high on your priorities....
Many of the other comments suggest that the accommodation is looking tired and dated., this is perhaps true of some of the Villas but wasn't our experience.
Overall good value for money and would recommend for a couple or family.
