We have just returned from an excellent week at the Victoria. We can't fault the hotel. Great service from all the staff we came across. All very helpful.

The location has been criticised by other reviewers but we did not find it a problem. It was an easy 30-40 minute walk to the Marina but we also had a hire car for most of our trips into town.

We ate twice in the outstanding Emo restaurant. Great quality meals. Expensive but a nice part of the holiday treat!

The golf course is not part of the hotel but it was easy to get tee times and the
green fees were reasonable including buggy and hire of clubs.

The hotel was both busy and quiet at different times during our week there. The hotel has a nice relaxing ambience. The bedroom was very good. Comfortable bed, tv with multiple channels including the main BBC and ITV channels which is not all that common in hotels outwith the UK. The shower was excellent and spacious! The balcony had very comfortable loungers for soaking up the late afternoon sun.

A comprehensive buffet breakfast every morning with lots of fresh fruit, breads, juices and cooked options. All beautifully presented.

This was a fantastic hotel and we would highly recommend the Tivoli Victoria to other holidaymakers.

This is not a boutique hotel, it is in fact a huge place ,very minimalist inside. It is on a golf course and not close to restaurants and commercial areas so you defenitely need a car to move about. The hotel is very quiet and if you enjoy noise and entertainment this is not the place to stay. The rooms are excellent, of good size, with very confortable beds, and full of details and amenities. We enjoied the large day bed in the terrace, the walk-in huge closet , the bathroom, which is in fact part of the bedroom in a very unobtrusive manner, and its large walk in shower and huge bath tub. Breakfast was of excellent quality, fresh orange juice, perfectly scrambled eggs, a great variety of fresh fruits, cold cuts and cheeses as well as pastries and breads. All of what you would expect from a 5 star establishment and even more.
The best part of our stay was the access to the SPA water jet circuit indoors pool, part of the Banyan Tree Spa at the Hotel, a marvelous location on the roof of the hotel. This area is very well appointed, very Zen and peaceful. The hotel also has a large outdoors pool which looks wonderful but the weather for us was too chilly to use it ,although many guests were there
sunbathing! The worst pat of our stay was the ammount of walking we had to do to reach our room, but nevertheless we will come back for sure to this hotel!

My friend and I have just returned from a few days at this hotel. It is a lovely place to stay being fairly new to the area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well fitted and very comfortable although it was a shock to find the room was open plan and the bath/shower area were located in the room although if required they could be blocked off with a sliding door. The hotel is large and the walk to the lifts could be quite long depending where you are allocated to stay.
The food is of a high standard and plentiful - we had the buffet as part of our deal and they have a gourmet restaurant as well. We ate very well and did not go hungry - quite the reverse.
The pools - one indoor and one outdoor were very good and the spa was very restful but quite expensive although for a five star hotel they may be value for money as the treatments can last for 2hrs.
The golf course is superb and allegedly one of the best in the area. The downside is the fact that the hotel is out of the main resort and you need to use taxis to go anywhere which is pricey and adds up very quickly.
I would recommend the hotel without a doubt especially for a golfing break.

Four of us shared a third floor 2 bedroomed apartment in this gated secure development run by the Hotel Tivoli across the road.
First impressions are very good as you walk into the complex & into reception, past the pools etc. Into the lift & into the apartment. All the fittings are top notch with granite worktops in the fully fitted & equipped kitchen. The bathroom is also luxurious. The lounge is very comfortable, spacious & well furnished. There is also an ensuite to the lovely master bedroom.
The balcony overlooked the golf course which was very nice, and got the afternoon & evening sun.
There are secure underground car parking where we left our racing bikes (in a separate store).
We often used the Hotel spa which was LOVELY & a real bonus.

Be very careful, this hotel is not up to ususal Tivoli Standards. The Tivoli Arade at Portiamo and the Tivoli Marina at Vilamoura put this in the shade. The hotel itself is very new and the decor in both the bedrooms and public rooms are beautiful, so no fault there. However, there is nothing around the hotel for you to walk out and enjoy a meal or a drink. I think what lets down this hotel is the attitude of many of the staff. It really is appalling. Could it be a cultural thing? I think not.

I am still awaiting a reply to my complaint, and will re post a review when I hear from the hotel. In the meanwhile, do yourself a favour if you are staying in Vilamoura and stay at the Tivoli Marina - great staff, great position and lots to do.
