We chose the Tulip hotel as it was close to the place we needed to be. The Hotel is located in a quiet area of Bergen op Zoom, room as in separate areas from the main hotel. We had a double room which was a nice size, bathroom with a bath, kettle with coffee the room and a TV,and safe. The hotel staff are friendly and they have a bar which offers a good range of drinks. Car Parking is in the street nearby and is €6 per day between 9am and 6pm. Very quite location and good value for money, would stay again.

Fast check-in, friendly service and a large comfortable room. Breakfast is basic but ok. An omelet is made on request. Bed and shower fine with a door to a balcony so you sit outdoor.
The door has an electronic lock, but closes poorly so you have to pull to close. This creates a bit of a bang. In the morning when the hotel ‘wakes up’ you have one bang after the other. At night you can sleep fine it is you don’t need an alarm in the morning to wake up.

Rooms are quite clean. Quiet atmosphere despite being on the roadside. Breakfast available but no other restaurant service available. The bar is well stocked with friendly staff. A few take away options quite close to the hotel and deliveries also available through hotel reception. Ideal for the business traveller.

Stayed for one night on a recent business trip - didn't get there until nearly midnight and left about 8:30am, so didn't get a chance see the facilities or the town. The staff were very pleasant, both in the evening and the morning.

The room was nice - stylish in a simple/almost minimalist way i.e. far nicer than a Travelodge but with much the same provision. I'm not sure it warranted €108 for the stay.

The breakfast buffet was good but not anything amazing.

We parked on the street outside the hotel - free from 6pm or so most nights until 9am (I've a recollection that one evening, maybe Fridays, it was only free from 8pm or 10pm).

So all in all, a nice place to stay, provided work was paying for it.
