We stayed here as a group for a birthday and not only did the venue blow us away but with the assistance of Gabriella and her team, we had an amazing visit.

A must stay in the Chianti hills within easy access of all the surrounding medieval towns.

After reading the reviews we booked a junior suite for two nights. We were warmly greeted when we checked in and given a tour of the grounds. There is no traffic noise and the birds were singing their hearts out. We were given ideas for restaurants and touring. This is a wonderful place to relax.

The suite was large and the bed comfortable. There was a jacuzzi although we didn't use it. We decided to stay a third night but our suite was booked so we moved to a regular room. It was cozy and just as comfortable. Also, the breakfast was good and filling

Only two cons: Luggage racks would be a nice addition to the suite. If you have mobility issues accessing the breakfast room and pool might be a problem.

Place was very beautiful and cozy, lady at the reception was very kind and outgoing (gave us some advice where to go and where to eat etc.) also their local wine was very delicious (bought two bottles on our way back home). And it was really close to Monteriggioni.

This was one of the first Eco touristic spots back in the very early 90s and now it's even better than ever, just stunningly marvelous and gorgeous with the panoramic views it offers. The rooms are well equipped but also maintain their feel of the early Tuscan architecture. Between the ambiance, pool, food, and the luscious home made wines, this is one of a kind experience.

We stayed one night in this lovely castle and would have loved to stay much longer. One of our best stays in Italy. The buildings themselves are extensive and beautifully redone; the setting is peaceful and picture perfect. Our room, in the building next to the castle itself, was large, very clean, and well appointed, with a large bathroom. The breakfast buffet was huge and very good and was laid out just for us, as the only other family there was in a self-catering apartment; we ate it in a storybook setting within the castle courtyard. We loved the pool, which we had all to ourselves, and enjoyed a bottle of the local wine. The two hosts were very kind and capable - and seemed to enjoy what they do. You can bike or walk to Monteriggioni from the castello on established trails - that's on our list for next time.
