This hotel is a very good base camp for exploring Toscany. I slept here 2 nights together with my husband and 4-years old son. The pool and it's area was nice, we enjoyed this part a lot. The hotel it self was a bit strange, the front desk hardly knocked her head when we said hello/good morning etc. The breakfast was served inside. We would have enjoyed sitting outside, the breakfast itself was average.
Our room was ok, air con made huge noise and my husband had to ask the front desk to turn it off. Otherwise the room was clean but quite worn (especially the bathroom).
This hotel is a nice 3 star hotel for sleeping (and swimming).

This hotel has a lovely pool area with nice lounge chairs and very high quality umbrellas. The wait staff and bartender at pool were friendly especially Simon on the wait staff. Breakfast was good. We had dinner at their restaurant in the castle (Remo) and the hotel. Both were good. Some negatives: the rooms not facing the pool with no walkout patio should cost less ( avoid these ), they charge €15 per room for a ride to and from the castle area ( unless you go to their restaurant ( Romo), you really need a car in this area as the road is not safe to walk. Lastly we found the ladies at the front desk not to helpful or friendly. Although the wonderful wait staff made up for them. And also, if you walk throght the back woods and up the road you will find a direct sell winery. We tasted and bought a few.

We stayed here for 4 days, the rooms were clean, friendly staff. We had a relaxing 4 days holiday, this location is near Sienna and lots of places to eat you have to have a car though. Be careful booking on a weekend they maybe a wedding, christening or some party if you don't like the noise that ends at midnight. The food was brilliant and the wine. My only complaint is for me the bed is hard. Would I return yes.

We have chosen the hotel as place, where from we can do daily trips to toscan villages. It was perfect choice! The hotel brings you comfort, great food, beautiful garden on one site and the staff as Well the surroundigs makes you feel as in your summer residence. The only thing which makes you trubble is terrible wi-fi connection. Otherweise Recommended!

We stayed here as part of a tour with Riviera travel and were really impressed with its cleanliness, stylish traditional building and furnishings, excellent food and friendly staff. Our first WOW! was never really modified. It is rather isolated so you would probably need a car or be prepared to spend a fair amount on travel unless you wanted to enjoy a peaceful sunbathing holiday -we spent two days by the pool which was very quiet until c. 4.30 when people returned from travelling and even then it was not over busy.Prices at the poolside bar are reasonable and there is very friendly and efficient service. And,of course there are the BUBBLES! At one end of the pool(see photo) there are sunken sunbeds which at the touch of a button turn into jacuzzis-a really relaxing addition to a swim.
All in all a really superb hotel but there's one niggle-rooms are rather dark because of subdued lighting and one complaint-I think it is unacceptable to charge for the use of pool towels and even worse that there is a further charge if you want to change a wet one for a dry one!
