Enjoyed the stay in this hotel compare to the other hotels in Italy. They speak good english in compare to the rest of the Italian people. The fitness was smalle but with a good airconditioning. The rooms were modern, had a good AC and were clean. The breakfast was good. A lot of Chinese/asian tourists didnt see other europeans. The pillows were the best I ever had in a hotel. Good service so a good review especially for such a price. They have a pool but I didnt use it. Its close to rome when u have a rentalcar.

We have stayed at literally hundreds of hotels, small to large and many pensions over the last 20 years. In our opinion, the Selene has everything covered! The breakfast was very good all three mornings. The room was of normal size for European hotels, just how much time do you spend in the room anyway... You are in Rome! The main train station is a l7 minute walk from the hotel. you can go anywhere from there, subways bus, train etc. The hop on -hop off station is a 5 minute walk from Selene, again, you can go to pretty much any of the points of interest in Rome on the hop on bus. We found the room price to be very reasonable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We certainly recommend the hotel Selene.

Room tip: Ask for a room off the main street.

As usual Hotel Selene makes it so easy for the business traveler. Easy checkin, quiet room, comfortable bed and excellent WiFi. Home office all in one. And great cocktails at the bar. Breakfast in the morning will fill the heartiest of appetites.

Very polite personell, tidy rooms, but unbelievable changes in quality of breakfast and front desk service

For a 160€ (sometimes 120, depends booking conditions) junior suite it is unacceptable to drink out of plastic cups and eat "rests" of a preliminary event.

The front desk personell is very polite, if you have already checked in, any telephone call or email (usually if you call, you´ll get the answer: send me an email) will be ignored.

Too many touristic guests out of asian countries treated like cattle (problem not the asians, but the amount and the treatment)
