It's hard to know where to begin. The "free airport shuttle" is a farce. There's a spot outside the airport where all the hotels have pick-up service, and there's a NH spot, but there's an old posting that says to call the hotel for pick-up (which might be easier for Europeans, but is difficult for Americans without cell service). We called the hotel but the lady at the hotel said the shuttle only picks up at 6:30pm or something like that and told us if we don't want to wait for 4 hours, we can take a taxi, but is unable to tell us where to go for taxi service (she said something about going back into the airport to a desk, but wasn't sure where the desk was). We ended up taking a bus to the hotel. There is NOTHING near the hotel, no restaurants, shops, etc. except there IS a train station immediately across from the hotel (of course, the lady at the hotel didn't mention that to us when we were trying to get picked up at the airport.) The rooms were comfortable, but there were too many detractors to give this a better review. Most NH hotels have complimentary water, orange juice, and apples for their guests in the lobby but this one didn't have anything but overpriced drinks in a self-serve little spot. I'm sure their breakfast is nice, but at 22 euros a person, we opted out. Oh yeah, the outside of the hotel is poorly lit and there's tripping hazards.

This hotel is perfectly fine for a night’s stay while you’re traveling. Rooms are clean, warm, great sound insulation, it’s nice to have a kettle in the room. Otherwise, it’s not a homely hotel in an area which seems to have nothing else except big company buildings in it.

The hotel is just across Diegem train station, which is very convenient.

Breakfast is really expensive - all the more so annoying because there are no other alternatives close by.

I would only stay here again if I was flying in or out of Brussels airport.

The room is cold, now I m sick.
The hot food room service arrive cold
The bed is bad, the pillow are bad.
Everything’s is cheap, in the room , they have put a extra wall to make bigger the bath room.
Everything’s is cheap except the price which is way too much money.

Bed and breakfast is all you get.

Arrived in Brussels airport. Had to wait for an hour for a shuttle that never arrived. Not very welcoming at minus 4! At the end they sent a taxi.

According to the hotel the restaurant is open till 23 hrs. Kitchen closes at 22.30. But guess what. They close the restaurant before 22.00. They waived it by saying ‘oh the information is wrong we know’

We have tried the room service, supposed to be available 24 hrs. And again a ‘guess what moment’ No room service available!!

Room is basic. Needed some maintenance!
Bed was fine and we could even find a coffeemaker.

Bathroom rather strange. Unusual to have the sink in the open space next to the bed. Hidden behind a screen. Tap not fixed to the sink!

Breakfast was good. Entering the breakfast hall was funny though. It looks like the supermarket at opening time. People lining up. While staff is running around doing nothing behind close doors. At 7.01 (late for an airport hotel) they open the door by turning the key ignorantly. At seven o’clock do not expect milk in the coffee machine or fresh cheese.

This was the first time NH Brussels. Next time we will move back to other places near the airport. Plenty of choice!

We regret the inconvenience you suffered regarding the shuttle.
Normally there is a shuttle every half hour during specific times, but unfortunately because of the bad water on Friday we weren't able to keep up this schedule exceptionnally. The hotel was overwhelmed with all the stranded guests due to the snow.

Hopefully you give our hotel a second chance, so we can convince you of the quality and service we want to stand for.

Best location possible next to the train stop, friendly staff, clean beautiful rooms, shuttle to and from airport, great food, good value, cost was very reasonable, will return next year, with a tour group.
