I arrived to a pot of tea and flapjacks, a beautiful country house with geese and a pond, fields and outdoor swimming pool, the owners are so welcoming, being away for work on my own this was the perfect place to stay, it is like a relaxing retreat if only I didn’t have to work! Every little detail is thought of down to a heated blanket in my bed, when I sat on my bed it was bliss!! The breakfast was lovely, fresh and local produce, you can tell, it’s in a quaint village with a lovely pub 100 yards down the road serving great food, thank you for a wonderful couple of days

What a lucky find! We stayed the weekend for a large family gathering in the area, so were happy just to have somewhere to stay. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Our room was comfortable and warm. All we could ask for. The bathroom was next door, so technically not en suite but bath robes were provided, so it was very convenient.
Fresh milk for an early cup of tea was a welcome bonus.
The breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent. We’d forgotten to say that our daughter is vegetarian but this was no problem. Home produced apple juice and jams were an extra special touch.
The house itself is a masterpiece. Restoration has clearly been a labour of love. The beams are fabulous and the arabic markings a real bit of history.
The village is lovely. Sadly we didn’t have time to visit the pub, but the Church is worth a visit. Very welcoming and a super start to Sunday.
Thank you so much for making a wonderful weekend even more special

We spent 3 nights here with my Father in Law. We had two rooms with bed and breakfast. The house is a very old stone farm house. The rooms and beds are comfortable and full of character. If you like old buildings you will love this one.
Julie the owner is very friendly and helpful . She does a lovely breakfast - whatever you want and ask for.
We visited Godshill Model Village, Carisbrooke castle and Osborne House. Lovely places to visit.
Would stay here again if visiting the Isle of Wight.

To Rozzie and Jonny - thank you so much for the lovely evening we spent at your charming B&B. The room was spacious with a super view of the countryside. A treat to wake up to the sheep & Geese choir practice on the go - nice to be in the country.

Room Tip: Go for the superior room - spacious and a good size bed

An enormously warm welcome into this fabulous, charming house, steeped in history, awaited us last weekend.

The owners are lovely, the rooms comfortable with anything you might need and the breakfast (whilst watching the geese being fed!) was show-stopping.

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more and will certainly be coming back again.
