This was the first time I had visited this restaurant but would definitely go back. It has a varied menu which was nicely cooked. It was extremely busy on a Thursday lunchtime, even the new extension was full, this proves the quality of the food must be good.

We booked a table on Good Friday and although the restaurant was full nothing was too much trouble for the team . My mum is in a wheelchair and unfortunately the taxi let us down , we had to wait for two hours therefore keeping the table much longer than expected . The staff were amazing and did not make us feel in the way or awkward. The food was beautiful, service was quick but clearly freshly cooked . For six diners we paid less than 60.00 . I had fish and chips the best I've had for a long time . This is a little gem and such a refreshing change from chain restaurants. Well done Potting Shed

Thank Connie J

Enjoyed a delicious Easter breakfast this morning at The Potting Shed. As a group of 10 adults and 7 children, we were all impressed by the excellent service and quality of the breakfasts: great varied menu and lovely staff. Will be visiting again and would most definitely recommend.

We held my husband's 60th party at the Potting shed on 24th March 2018, after the venue being recommended to us by some friends.
From initial contact with Jess, everything was taken care of for us. We were so impressed with all the staff we met, including Jess, Daniel, Charlie, Jeanie and another lady who served us on the night. (sorry, unsure of her name)
There were 39 of us, including 5 children. We decided to have the set three course meal and were so pleased with the choice, quality, quantity and lovely presentation of the food. All served promptly on piping hot plates, this we were delighted about. All the guests commented on how good the food was, clean plates all round! Chef even catered for one guest with a food allergy and pleased the children with their options! The two chefs we met, certainly know how to cook and present food.
The evening was superb, lovely atmosphere and well looked after by all staff. Thanks to John (Boss), who was so approachable and helpful each time we met him.
Highly recommend this venue.
