We booked this hotel for a girls weekend away. Hotel was clean and staff are friendly.

We arrived on the Friday night only to find out the Trevor Nelson evening was sold out and no tickets left! We were disappointed.. however an angel in the form of Geoff rescued our weekend with room upgrades two bottles of Prosecco and he even managed to get us into the club. Sweetest man in the world. Thank you Geoff for making our weekend.. from the daughter you never had and her groupies! Xxx

Dear Guest,

We would like to thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.

We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your girls weekend away at the Coppid Beech Hotel. It is great to know that you felt the hotel was clean and that all staff are friendly. In terms of the Trevor Nelson event, unfortunately this event was sold out fairly quick due to the popularity of Trevor Nelson himself. As a hotel we endeavoured to make guests aware of the tickets being sold out by updating our website and Facebook page to reflect this. This event was hosted by an external promoter that hired our venue to hold the event at, tickets were to be purchased through the external promoters specific website, which was stated on the marketing material. We would advise all guests to check prior to staying if they are unsure on the availability of tickets for various events, just in case they are sold out and to avoid disappointment. We are pleased to read that Geoff managed to reconcile the issue that you raised and you enjoyed your stay to the full extent. We will be sure to pass on all your comments to all the relevant departments.

Thank you again and we look forward welcoming you back in the future.

Kind Regards

Another visit to the Coppid Beech bit better than previous visits as now know not to eat here in the evening and had an executive room which was ok. My colleague who stayed in a normal room did not get the two small bottles of water that an executive room gives you! Not a great hotel to go for a run outside from..breakfast ok

Room Tip: Avoid being near lift if you want to sleep

Family room was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The meals we had were good. We would certainly stay here when visiting Legoland again. The location is ideal for visiting Legoland and is easily accessible from main routes

Traveling on business from the US, the Coppid Beech was probably what I would expect for a mid range hotel. The staff placed me in a quiet location and the room was properly appointed and comfortable. However, I noticed little moths in the room likely from the windows being open when I arrived. On the second day I expected them to be gone, but they persisted. I did not eat at the hotel or use any of the amenities other than the small bar in the lobby. The ales were good, but there was no late evening food to order (maybe room service, but nothing at the bar).

Room Tip: If there is a group, ask for a room on a quiet floor and hallway

We would really like to investigate this issue further in order to hopefully reconcile your stay and avoid this issue reoccurring. If you wish to assist us with our investigation, please contact us directly on sales@coppidbeech.com with the full details of your stay, we would be very appreciative of any information you can provide us with. I've been to the coppid beach 6 times now for various events to hen's, birthdays or just girls nights out. It is exactly the same each time. A really good night, food ok, starters and desserts not great but main meal good. The live band is great and the rooms are clean. The down side are the facilities and that we booked cream tea and it was such a disappointment...the scones and cakes were not home made and not worth the added pounds. The facilities need updating as there is much improvement they can make seeing the popularity. They cut too many corners and risk people not returning. The menu choice for packages are getting smaller and the food is not as good as it was 5years ago. This should improve not decline especially as the price has gone up. No water in rooms..another thing reduced. I would go again but only if I couldn't find something better. And I definitely wouldn't have the cream tea- it's embarrassing that such a big hotel would give you some scones straight from Sainsbury's shelf!

Dear Guest,

We would like to thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.

We are so pleased to know that we have such loyal guests who enjoy themselves each time they visit the Coppid Beech Hotel. We are pleased that you thought the live band was great and that your room was clean. We are naturally disappointed to learn of your disappointment when it comes to your Afternoon Tea booking. This is not something we usually receive negative feedback on and we can assure you that all our cakes and sandwiches are freshly made, on the day the day of service. Your comments are very concerning for us and we will most certainly look into them further.

Thank you again and we hope to welcome you back in the future.
