We had booked twin bed luxury hotel rooms for 34 member family touring group from India at MovenPick hotel Zurich on early May 2019. The restaurant staff especially one older lady staff of this hotel's restaurant was arrogant in her attitude that she literally ordered our tour members from India including class I officers including Doctors, Vets and Bank Managers and their families from India with children to dine in a separate dining hall for one complementary breakfast session away from other nationals in the same dining time and provided us with lesser number of breakfast receipe in contrast to the large variety of breakfast menu arranged for other nationals in the same the hotel . Switzerland is well known as a favourite tourist destination for people from India thanks to the cordial attitude of its citizens but exceptions are there like the old lady restaurant staff at this prestigious hotel. Afterall hospitality and anti racial attitude is essential for any good hotel to flourish with a loving atttitude to touring people from across the world.Moreover on the second day of our stay at this hotel, none of our rooms were refurbished with water, milk, tea and coffee packets which shows a shabby and dishonouring attitude of house keeping staff in meeting the needs of international guests from India who had paid a good amount to book these luxury rooms for stay at Zurich.

Thank you very much for taking your time to review your recent stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Zürich Airport.

We deeply regret to read, that you found our services to be led by racism towards travelers from India. Please rest assured, that this is not at all the case within our hotel. In order to give you a perspective, we would like to let you know, that more than 100 different nationalities are represented by our 180 employees. Even within the Management Team of 7, you will find only two Swiss nationals. We would like to let you know, that no matter the circumstances, we do not differentiate our guests by where they are from, nor their believe or even occupation. It is true, that we do provide a second breakfast buffet for tour groups, as negotiated and requested by the tour organizers. Also both breakfast buffets do differentiate from each other, in order to court the different requirements. However we do not forbid any of our guests, to serve themselves from the other buffet, should they prefer to try something else.

Thank you also for understanding, that we do clean all rooms every day. Even if our guests stay for more than one night. However we refrain from entering rooms, which have the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. These rooms are contacted by phone after 14.00 hrs, in order to find out if the guest would like the room to be cleaned. Should the guest however not be reachable, than we refrain from entering the room. Should you have not had your "Do not disturb" sign on your door during your stay, than we would like to apologize that the amenities were not replaced. Please do not hesitate to contact either our Front Office or Housekeeping Team on site during your stay, as we would gladly replace the desired products.

Thank you again for understanding, that all travelers from around the world, no matter their nationality, skin colour or occupation, are welcome here at the Mövenpick Hotel Zürich Airport.

Rude and arrogant. Refused a coffee to a lady at 0450 as she had stayed in their apartment hotel and not in the ‘main’ building! Just indicative if the overall attitude from the staff. Avoid and go to another hotel !

Thank you very much for forwarding your feedback from your recent stay.

We would like to let you know, that even though the neighboring apartment hotel does not belong to Mövenpick, nor is it managed by Mövenpick. We do however, since the neighboring apartment hotel does not have a Front Desk, check their guests in and out, as well as let their guests use our complimentary shuttle service as well.

Of course they can also enjoy one of our complimentary coffees (which we serve from 05.00 - 06.00 hrs every morning). Our Front Office Manager will inform and train her team accordingly.

The room was large enough for three persons. There were two large size beds. The room was clean tidy. We had the dinner in a wonderful restaurant. The breakfast was nice and delicious. The hotel is near the airport, it only takes 10 minutes from the hotel to airport. There is a supermarket near the hotel but it closes at 20:00.

Good and clean hotel for just one or two nights. The mainly advantage of this hotel is that it is near the airport. The restaurant is very good. The room is clean and OK.

However one big mistage ! All the personal don't speak french. Just for reminder we are in Switzerland and your staff need to speak national language : French, Swiss dutch, Itallian !

Unfortunately none of us speak Rumantsch Grischun, however we could surely find a way to help a customer, wanting to communicate in this language as well.

If you need to stay at a comfortable hotel just by the airport, this is a good choice. Its comfortable and not to expansive. The restaurant is realy good and serves both excellent dinner and a great breakfast. But be aware of what you have ordered, we make a booking with booking.com and it promised us breakfast included, but when at the hotel they told us its not included. But we argumentet and they finally include the breakfast in the price, big thanks for that!
