It is separated 'house' on the back of Lisbet's house, like somebody said here already. It is tiny, yes - but it has absolutely all what you need. Bathroom is great, bunk bed very comfortable, it is absolutely silent, clear, and Lisbet is incredibly helpful. She came to offer us extra flavours of tea (there is fridge and kettle) and some bread... she gave us free tickets for ferry... She is really helpful with all advices.
Me and my mother simply loved to stay on this charming street, in wonderful little house.

Sandefjord itself is nice for 2 days stay, not really old historical places to visit, but little church on waterfront, whale museum and some other places are worth to visit. Only warning - somehow places where one may to eat dinner are really limited.
One day we took ferry trip to Sweden, and it was great too... very relaxing.
It was perfect short trip, and Lisbet's place was absolutely wonderful place to stay in.

Lisbet's Gjesthus is a small separate guesthouse at the back of Lisbet's own property. The traditional Norwegian white wooden features give the property a charming, personal feel. Although the guesthouse itself is very small, there are bunk beds, a very clean ensuite bathroom with a toilet and good shower, a large plasma television and kitchen appliances including a coffee maker, kettle and fridge. Further personal touches also include a selection of paperback books in English and a guestbook for visitors to sign.

There is also an outdoor area with tables and chairs which is perfect for having breakfast whilst listening to the church bells and the horns from the ship that goes from Sandefjord to Sweden.

The guesthouse is very convenient to both the town and the harbour (about a 5 minute walk to both), although I would recommend visiting Sandefjord during the week if you are interested in visiting the stores in the town centre, as most places are closed at weekends.

Overall, do not be put off by the size of the guesthouse or the thought of bunk beds (as I was!) The guesthouse allowed us to have a lovely romantic weekend away and was the perfect place to stay to see the town and a traditional Norway.

Charming small quiet room with comfy bunk beds, private bathroom ensuite. Extremely clean inside with a nice desk, TV and fold out table to make tea/coffee on. Very welcoming owner, this guesthouse is a great way to see Sandefjord.

Not a long walk from the train station (10 mins) but not many streets are labeled in Sandefjord (I got very lost the next day walking around). If you arrive in the evening or in bad weather it would be best to take a taxi.
