We stayed here in the last week of September so we were the only ones at the hotel. I say this as maybe it has a bearing on our experience.
The location is spectacular with views down the valley and the local hillside village is like something out of a film set!
Our room had no outside windows as such however, the passageway to the ensuite bathroom had doors out to a communal patio which overlooked the valley. But the room was still quite dark and lights had to be on whenever you were in the room.
The lady (chef?) was pleasant enough but did only speak Italian, all the time. So, as our Italian is not the best (and I know us British can be lazy like that!) , this may have affected our choice of food in the restaurant. We used Google Translate to make our choices and whilst the pasta was very good, the "lamb chops" were not chops at all, but just pieces of lamb.
Overall, I felt that €140 for dinner, bed and breakfast plus two bottles of beer and two bottles of water was a bit much - for two of us. I am comparing this to other places we have stayed in during our trip through Italy.
