This is a really cool, really interesting visit! So many facts and so, so, so many coins!

The visit takes the form of a tour from a tour guide (ours was Chris and he was superb) with videos, interactive exhibits, a view of the factory floor, a chance to ‘stamp your own’ coin, the obligatory photoshot (with one million pounds as the background!), more interactive exhibits and history and, finally, the shop.

A genuinely brilliant way to spend a couple of hours

This experience was very well organised. The staff were helpful, the tour guide Josh had a good sense of humour and made it interesting for all, he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer the questions he was asked. Despite the moments it was a little boring, considering the fact that you are basically touring and a factory in production, it is to be expected. You have to be interested or it will be uninteresting to you. Its that simple. We weren't disappointed as we enjoy experiencing new things and my son who is 9 found it all interesting as he enjoys learning about new things and how things are made. Ideally to take children you would have to take those that are happy to listen and enjoy learning. It is definetely worth going but chose the right people to go with and only take children who will understand and enjoy it. Very young children are likely to be in need of more interaction

My daughter lives in Llantrisant so felt it was about time we visited. Had a pleasant walk across the Common and time to mooch around the gift shop before the tour. We had booked on line as was Easter weekend but our tour was not crowded and our guide Josh was very cheerful and informative. We learnt such a lot of interesting facts about money and the whole tour was well organised and fun. The museum part was set out well and not boring at all. Definitely well worth going to and my daughter will now encourage all her visitors to come here. Also I would recommend stopping in Llantrisant for the excellent tea shops and craft centre.

This was a wonderful experience and the reason we decided to go to Wales for a city break. Our guide Phil was great and so knowledgeable. There is free parking outside and modern building with a gift shop at the entrance, along with a cafe. Tour takes approximately 1 hour and when finished you can take your time to go through an exhibition. You then finish at the gift shop area, where you started your tour.

We went on 10am tour and pressed are own coins. Maybe they should offer this option on all tour times?

Photo opportunity with a fortune was good also.

Highly recommended visit and worth every penny.

Special thanks to Phil who made our visit such a great experience.

Keep up the good work.
