My boyfriend and I were cycling through Quebec and and stopped in Marieville for a late morning snack. We happened to hit the main street (Rue du Pont) during loud, dusty construction. Probably because of this we were extra delighted to find Cafe Loca Loca. It is small, bright, clean and simple inside. There seemed to be a shift change while we were there, and the group of women coming and going were all very friendly, helpful, chatty and good natured.
Everything on the menu and in the pastry case looked delicious, and we settled on a few pastries and coffee, that did not disappoint. Since stopping there, the lovely atmosphere often comes to mind. I wish I could pop back in on a regular basis and enjoy the food and atmosphere.
