It felt a little bit weird when i entered but almost immediately felt right at home. Jenny is such a great hostess. I got a HUGE room with all windows at the front looking out. I stayed 3 nights, it was so very comfortable, great bed, great pillows. Everything was clean and spotless. Great dinners, great breakfast, OUTSTANDING WIFI and walking distance to bars, restaurants, and the sugar factory because if you stay in Tienen chances are you are there for the tirlemontoise.

I highly recommend it, worth every penny.

First a warning: it is quite difficult to find. There is no B&B sign but look for the art in the window. Our room was on the 3rd floor, there is a comfortable lounge on the 2nd floor and very adequate breakfast is on ground floor. The owner is a very friendly person, a real character. Note that the stairs are very steep and probably unsuitable for anyone who is infirm.

I hadn't closed my accommodation, and the exterior came as a surprise -more like a small art gallery. Inside the lounge was on the first floor and the rooms on the two floors above, reached by steep and narrow staircases. The rooms were spacious, clean and each had an individual character. Very comfy beds! My room was en suite but without tea making facilities.
Breakfast was served on the ground floor in the kitchen. It consisted of juice, bread with ham, cheese and jam, and omelette.
I had the company of a
young man who was walking to Composted a over breakfast. The owner was a delightful lady who couldn't do enough for us. A brief but very pleasant stay.
