Fantastic food and wonderful service as always, our fourth visit and it never disappoints! Great children’s menu for the little ones, the ribs were exceptional as was the sea bass! We cannot recommend this pub enough, beautiful setting in the conservatory too!

Came here for a birthday meal with my wife, and we had a great evening. Traditional cosy little country pub, decent selection of beers, and the food was excellent. A bit different from the usual pub fare, with some choices from other cuisines... but it was all really good. Very reasonable pricing too. Highly recommended.

Well having had a great meal just down the road at the Kings Arms we debated going back or trying the Rock Inn. We were so glad we made the choice to try the Rock. The starters were awesome, the deli meat platter easily fed 2 with plenty to spare whilst the Black Pudding scotch egg was devine. On to the mains, venison wellington was beautifully cooked whilst the fish pie was really nice with cheesy mash on top. I managed a desert (well it would be rude not to) and had the Cadbury flake creme brûlée which again was delicious.
I think the whole meal was excellent value for money and in a lovely dining area at the back of the pub.
Staff were attentive and nothing too much trouble. Whilst it wasn’t super quick service between courses, you needed that little time due to the portion sizes.
Enjoy!!!! We certainly did.

Thank Tim B

We were told about this place by a local gent, we're really grateful. What a lovely friendly pub. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, plenty of choice in beers, wines and the food was brilliant, again, plenty of choice, well presented and beautifully cooked. We rang to book as we had a dog with us (she was made very welcome), I would recommend booking as by about 6.30 on a cold, March evening the place was soon very busy.

We always make a pilgrimage to the Rock Inn when in Devon as it is a super friendly pub that serves great food. We walked to the pub from North Morte Point with our two dogs and by the time we arrived we had worked up a series appetite for beer and food. It was packed as you can imagine on Bank Holiday weekend but thankfully we had booked ahead and had two great seats with our dogs in the bar. Having watched endless people drift in asking for tables of 8 plus and been told they may have a long wait you do question why people might not expect this especially on Easter weekend? Still great starters ( squid , yum yum and prawns ) and two roast beef dinners that we fell into. Yorkshire Puddings the size of small pillows. Crumble and sticky toffee pud to wrap up proceedings and bring on the pleasant mellow feeling that sitting in a proper pub with proper people and good food and drink brings! Loved it. Try it , our only regret is that we are never there long enough to try other interesting things on the menu like the Spanish Burger! Great friendly service. You guys literally do Rock!
