If you visit Lanercost Priory, don't miss out on a visit to this church. Admission is free and it offers peace and tranquility away from the hubbub of the outside world. With Gregorian Chant in the background you step back in time. There is some beautiful stained glass to be seen in the Church. Secondhand books and cards, as well as souvenirs, are available to purchase there as well.

Our first view was the impressive West front of the church, presumably because it was the entrance to the medieval Priory church. After entering the church the first thing that strikes you is the view of the ruins of the East end of the Priory church through the East windows of the Parish church. The church stained glass windows have been influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement, were designed by Burne-Jones and made by William Morris.

We visited here while visiting Lanecost priory. It was free admission, though donation were welcomed.Parking available on site. On entering we were met by one of the volunteers who worked there who had a wide knowledge of the church and area. There was plenty of books and leaflets on display for area. The church had some beautiful architecture and was kept to a high standard. Well worth the visit especially on a hot day. Many Thanks.

A lovely little church set in the middle of the former abbey. Lovely stained glass windows and lots of information about the church.

Small donations, I am sure, are always welcome in the collection box.
