Beautiful grounds and not overly busy which was a nice surprise! Food was excellent but service was a touch slow though we were a group of 8. The charcuterie platter is amazing and a great deal for the amount of food. Do your tasting first so you know which wine you'd like with your meal. Well worth the visit.

It was our pleasure to have the opportunity to experience The Good Earth restaurant, wine and hospitality for the second time this summer. This time, we had my sister and her husband join us to celebrate her recent retirement. The farm-to-table food was perfectly prepared with a definite attention to detail. The hot pot of the day was fabulous, as was the fish special (sushi grade tuna) and the roast beef tartine. They were all generous portions and served at the perfect temperature. Add to that the great wines, a friendly efficient server (Kara), and being greeted and seated by the owner combined to make it one fabulous fall-like afternoon. The four of us loved it, and soon hope to sign up for one of the cooking classes that are offered on site. No pretentiousness here....just great folk with passion for all things "good".

Six of us enjoyed lunch at The Good Earth Food and Wine Co. All enjoyed the tasty appetizers and main course; I ordered the Chef's vegetarian soap (nice and spicy), followed by the Thai shrimp and lobster burger (creative and delicious). We also enjoyed two wines, Betty's Blend white and Cabernet Franc red -- great choices for sipping on their patio in the afternoon. Two suggestions for improvement: first, the main course service, while friendly, was too slow; second, the chairs on the patio were much to small and uncomfortable.

My cousin and I stopped here at the end of the day thinking that we could squeeze in one more winery. When we walked in the door we were greeted by the most delectable aroma and the most gracious hostess. The owner, Nicolette, shared the story of how her cooking school, bistro, and winery came to be. Her love for this place was evident in every word. We were seated on the patio with a lovely view of the garden. I ordered the lobster and shrimp burger. In a word....happiness. the beet salad that my cousin had was wonderful as well.

Please do yourself a favor and come enjoy this zen paradise. I know I will be back.
