We have been to Bugok Hawaii many times. It’s actually the closest water park with natural hot spring from our place plus we really love the drive going there.
As compared to other waterpark in the South, it can be considered old and not as nice as the new ones; however, I think one of the best features of this resort is really the natural hot springs. We go there with friends so we use the outdoor springs where girls and boys are allowed to be together.
We come to Bugok mostly during winter to escape the cold weather. Taking a dip and staring at the sky is so relaxing. Plus, only few people are there because it is off peak season.
Usually after swimming, before going home (we never tried to stay in the hotel), we would play at the theme park outside the waterpark, but since it is off-peak season, the rides are usually not open.
Sometimes in winter, they put a manmade snow hill so guest can sled down the hill. The way going up to this hill is also fascinating. Good view of the waterpark plus some old posts and stones on the side of the hill in different forms or representations.
Another best moment I had here was last spring, when all people are in Jinhae for the cherry blossom festival, we are here.
The hill is also full of cherry blossoms. When the wind blew, the cherry blossoms fell as if it was snowing. We took so many pictures and videos because it is simply pretty and amazing. Moreover, not too many people around that will ruin our background and cherry blossom experience. Looking forward to experiencing it again this coming spring.

Great Waterpark!! This was one of the best trips I have made in Korea! The park has a lot of things to do, slides, wave pool, diving, indoor pools, outdoor pools, a HUGE spa..... This is a must see/must do venue in Korea. Take the family and have a blast. If you are American or used to American waterparks, please remebr in Korea you need a HAT when you are in the water. Not completely sure why, but bring one or you will buy one there :)

This is a warning to whom it may concern about working for/at or visiting Bugok Hawaii-Korea. The president of there , Kenji Kanazawa from Japan completely abuses his authority and position to have young foreign women engage in sexual affairs with him.
I had a contract to work at Bukok Hawaii for the duration of six months starting from April 30, 2012. Shorty after starting work there, Kenji Kanazawa approached me one day while I was on break and asked my name. Knowing that he was the " Big Boss ", I replied and so it all started. From that day forth he persisted to come by and watch my shows since I am a dancer and continued to chat with me sometimes bringing me coffee and chocolates. I started to feel the burden of having to accommodate him but since employees from Eastern European countries are frequently abused there, I felt that I had no choice but to continue speaking to him. One day after about a month he demanded my phone number so that he would be able to contact me for personal matters. Again, since he is the president of Bugok Hawaii, I gave it to him. So it all started.
Shortly after acquiring my phone number he started to text message me on a daily basis several times a day. Then soon after he stated that he would like to have dinner with me to discuss work and other matters. He took me the city of Busan to have coffee at the Paradise hotel. He told me that we should be friends and I fell for his bait. We discussed different topics. He about his wife and children in Japan and I about my work, family, boyfriend, and my country. Shortly after that night he returned to Japan to see his family. Upon returning to Korea, he contacted me immediately again. He asked me to come out to have dinner with him then took me to a sushi restaurant in the city of Changwon. This continued for the duration of a month. Taking me to dinner or coffee in the city of Busan, Changwon, and Daegu. I trusted him as a friend and advisor about work and life in general since all our conversation topics were those discussed by true friends. He even frequently asked about my boyfriend whom was in Seoul.
Then came the day of October 1, 2012. It was Chuseok a national Korean holiday. I had originally planned to go to Seoul to visit my boyfriend since I had 2 days off. But at the last moment management suddenly imformed me that my days off had been canceled and that I wouldn't be able to go to Seoul. Whether or not Kenji Kanazawa had intentionally planned this is in question since we foreign workers have no right to voice our opinions while working there. He knew my schedule and so asked me to have dinner with him again in Busan since I would not be going to Seoul. After having dinner in Busan, he suddenly stated that there is too much holiday traffic for us to drive back to Bugok and that he was very tired and felt that he could not drive and insisted that we stay at the Paradise hotel for the night and leave early next morning. I immediately knew his intentions and asked him if the hotel would have enough rooms since it was a holiday and hotels lack accomodation during this period. I insisted in having separate rooms but he stated that there is only one available and that we could just talk and eat some food. Once in the room his attitude completely changed. He ordered flowers and some food then changed the topic to his personal life apart from his family. He continued to say that he loves to take out beautiful women and have intimate relationships with young girls. He then told me that since he is the president of the company of Bugok that he can get his way with anything that he wants. After an hour or so of talking he forced himself upon me and had his way sexually. The morning he took me home and reminded me before letting me get out of his car that the company is holding on to my passport as well as all the other girls from Eastern Europe that were working there. So from that day forth during the period of the month of October he called me out over 7 times to have sex with him taking me to again to the Paradise Hotel and another hotel in Busan called the Choseon Hotel. Four of the times he took me to a hotel near city hall in the city of Changwon. To make my shame feel even worse, he asked me to be his mistress even after my contract was over and to come back to Korea to study. He stated that he would pay for my tuition, rent me an apartment, and support all my other financial needs. I refused telling him that I have a boyfriend and that what he was doing was wrong. He insisted that sex is sex and he is also married with children and that he had many relationships with mistresses in the past.
A couple of days before my departure from Bugok he gave me a phone stating that he had rented it so that he could contact me. Upon arriving back to my home in Ukraine, he sent me a few emails saying that there was nothing between us and that he forgot everything that happened and for me to return the phone.
Mr Kenji Kanazawa, you have shamed me, your family, and who knows how many other unsuspecting young girls that you hire to work for you. Even in terms of basic human rights for your employees do not exist since you use your threats of holding on to our passports and being able manipulate the Korean immigration to your advantage and do us harm. You try to sweet talk then when that doesn't work to your advantage you use your position of authority to manipulate people to your bidding. If we were women from a better developed country you could not have done any of this to me without the law interfering. And I'm sure that you're aware of several other girls being told that they are hired as stage performers then once they are there they are forced to work as hostesses or prostitutes at your other Korean employees bars and clubs. Just because we are from a lesser developed country than yours does not permit you to use us as objects for sex. You being a husband and a father to two young girls should know all women from any country also have their morals and values. Then again, your disregard to mine only displays your apathy towards foreign workers rights.
I am posting this to warn others of making a decision to work at Bugok Hawaii Korea. Everything seems appropriate and relevant until you actually are there. Then things change for the worse and your rights are stripped from you and you are treated as a hostage and slave. Please think twice and reconsider before accepting employment there. There are many other places to work as actual performers such as Everland Korea, LottleWorld Korea, or SeoulLand Korea all of which I had the opportunity to work in much better conditions without the inhumane attitude towards foreign workers.

This place is a not as advertised on the Internet. Our bath tub and sink are missing enamel and the shower as a whole looks like a crime scene. I can imagine that in summer time this place would be pumping but as it's winter now the whole place looks like a b grade horror movie set in a theme park. It's old and very worn down.
Don't take your wife if you want to stay married to her!
