We spent four days in the Andros Hotel and found it extremely comfortable, beautiful rooms, delicious food and very friendly and helpful staff. We were able to explore some very nice restaurants nearby and taxis were readily readily available to take us into Cape Town to experience the Waterfront, African Art Exhibition and Kirstenbosch and many more interesting sights. The weather was perfect and an excellent visit. We strongly recommend the Andros as a place to stay which also has a gym spa and swimming pool.

Room Tip: All the rooms are comfortable

We booked for 2 nights, decided to to have dinner the second night at the onsite restaurant-my springrolls of pulled duck meat had no meat, maybe 1 teaspoon divided between 4 springrolls. The flatbread was not fresh and had to give up chewing halfway through. Mediocrity at best. Chef was not onsite. Poor show to an otherwise great room and service. Breakfast good. Stay away from a la carte dinner!!!!

Dear Andre O

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write a review on TripAdvisor. We are also most grateful that you informed the management on the night that you were dissatisfied with your meal as this afforded us the opportunity to remove both items from your bill. We do apologise again most sincerely for this unfortunate experience and are delighted to note that you enjoyed your room, breakfast and service.

We remain with pleasure and entirely at your service

Stayed here in 2017 and just returned from a repeat visit for 2 weeks.

The Andros Team is as friendly and welcoming as before. We just love staying at this hotel. Accommodation, food, location and staff are all outstanding. Its no surprise that there are so many repeat clients

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool are great

A beautifully set boutique hotel in the heart of the leafy Southern Suburbs of Cape Town - a mere 5 minutes drive from the Claremont Business District. The room was superbly appointment with several amenities, a fully stocked mini bar filled with a wide variety of drinks and snacks. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in! I made use of the gym facilities in the morning which were great! The breakfast was delicious and the staff warm and professional.

Room Tip: Choose rooms closes to the pool area.

You could not wish for a finer holiday experience than a stay at the Andros. It is absolutely superb in every aspect. Every detail is watched over by the 'hands on' proprietor Val, who organises her team to provide guests with the ultimate in service.

The suites are a delight with everything you would wish for in a luxury hotel. The main hotel is full of character and also full of special 'treats' for the guests; enjoy a gin & tonic before dinner or something sweet after your meal...it's all laid out for you and all these and more treats are entirely complementary.

Breakfast is a real joy as you sit on on the terrace overlooking the delightful gardens.
The Spa offers great massages and other beauty treatments. A well equipped gym is also available.

The swimming pool offers comfortable loungers and complimentary ice cream and iced water is always on hand.

We had a fantastic time and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough...we can't wait to return.

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw were excellent.
