Dimmock Cottage is the perfect place for a holiday by the sea. The cottage is like a home from home filled with everything you need- the games and dvd's great for keeping the young and the older occupied. The hampers left for us and the dog were great, everything you could need and more. The cottage was spotless, lovely and spacious.
The beach is so close to the cottage, we spent many hours on the lovely sandy beach with the Poachers Pocket motel great for a meal and a drink on the seafront.
Mundesley a short drive away, the crazy golf is a must. The seals at Horsey are well worth the walk to the beach, amazing sight. Cromer festival was on during our visit, we had a great day at the carnival.
I would definitely recommend Dimmock cottage for a lovely relaxing holiday.

“Fabulous cottage in a wonderful location!”
Reviewed 17 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

This cottage is fantastic and we would all definitely like to go back again. We stayed in Dimmock Cottage for May half term week and had an amazing time. The welcome hampers were brilliant with thoughtful items for us and our cocker spaniel Oscar even had his own hamper too which was a lovely surprise. The cottage is immaculate with lots of space for everyone and so many thoughtful touches. We immediately relaxed and felt at home. The lovely sandy beach is a short stroll at the end of the road and is a real treat. We went every day and still miss it even tough we live on the south coast. It's all pebbles here! The weather was great all week so we were really lucky. We visited Cromer, Sheringham and Great Yarmouth. We went crabbing at West Runton which was great fun and we went to see the seals at Horsey (twice!). We have never been to Norfolk before but found it very easy to get around and all these places were only a short drive away. There are plenty of places to eat near the cottage and we tried most of them. Sugar & Spice cafe, The Poachers Pocket, The Lighthouse, Kingfisher Fish & Chips and a great Chinese for takeaways. We played some of the great games available at the cottage with giant garden Jenga a favourite. We loved Dimmock Cottage, we loved the location and we loved Norfolk. Thanks for a great holiday.

Glad you saw the seals at Horsey - my favourite trip too!. We are really pleased you all had a good holiday and Oscar enjoyed his hamper. Hopefully you will return to Dimmock Cottage in the future.

“Lovely Cottage in Excellent Location”
Reviewed 2 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Dimmock Cottage is right on the sea making days at the beach easy! My dog was allowed to stay and was even thought of in the welcome hamper. The booking process was easy and the immediate area has mostly everything you need for a beach holiday. We travelled further afield and found lots to do within a half hour drive. The extra touches of Easter themed decoration and an egg decorating kits were just lovely. Thanks so much!

“Absolute perfection - have booked to return”
Reviewed 7 December 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We spent October Half Term at Dimmock Cottage, myself, my Mum and my two girls aged 3 & 5. The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and homely with everything you need to have a real home-from-home break away. All appliances worked well, the shower was lovely and hot, and the equipment provided for children was just outstanding, you do not need to take any toys/games/books or even buckets and spades. We were also lucky enough to have some special Halloween decorations and treats left for us.
The local area was fantastic too. We actually went out very little, spending a few of our days the two minute walk away on the beautiful, sandy beach. The girls LOVED playing around in the water, we were so lucky with the weather for October. Within walking distance also was a secure play park and the Sugar & Spice café, a wonderfully informal café with the friendliest of people working there and the BEST chocolate brownies! On the first night we also ate from the Burger Shack as the fish & chip shop was closed - the food was delicious.
When we could prize ourselves away from Dimmock Cottage and the beach, we spent a day in Wroxham then onto Bewilderwood for the Halloween Lantern Parade. We also visited the lovely town of Holt and onto Blickling Estate on our way back. So much to do, but we barely touched the surface as we felt no need to venture any further.
We have booked for two weeks next summer, and just cannot wait to be back. Thank-you for such a wonderful stay and see you next year!

Hi Emma, we are so pleased you and your family enjoyed your recent holiday in Dimmock Cottage. Thank you very much for your lovely review, it is great to hear you enjoyed so many of the attractions nearby and you had everything you needed in the cottage. Having a private pool so close by is a real bonus, it is always lovely and warm and really popular with our guests. Thrigby Hall is a great attraction too, the walkways mean you can get really close to the big animals as you discovered! We hope you will return to Dimmock Cottage with your family in the furture.
