“Spot on for group accommodation”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Had a great stay with 11 friends taking part in the local Dragon ride. Facilities are top notch, and the location for getting into the mountains is A1. Port Talbot itself is a bit of an eyesore with the steelworks, but the riding is as good as anywhere in the UK. There's a great social space at Depot road and things like wifi and even Global knives come as standard! We'll be back.

“A superb place with the outdoors short distances away”
Reviewed 7 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Our nine man stag party spent a long weekend and it received a glowing reception from all. Table fussball and air hockey were brilliant.
The large living area meant there was a communal atmosphere whether you were in the kitchen, at the large dining table or on the comfy sofas.
The yard was equally useful with an excellent space for barbeques.

The bathrooms are minimally designed so don't expect any luxury from them but they're spot on for the outdoors type. The drying room was a saving grace as well.

There was excellent communication from the owners throughout.
I'd happily stay here again.

loads of amenities nearby and very friendly locals.
Afan Tavern just down the road for live bands and a beer, super market, takeaways etc.....
easy reach of Afan valley for some of the best riding in South Wales....
would definitely recommend this place to anyone for group bookings!

“The contemporary haven for a discerning active group.”
Reviewed 23 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed as a group of 14 young guys in April 14 and used Depot Rd. to access the local trail centres of Glyncorrwg and Afan as well as the beach at Port Talbot.
Depot Rd. is an excellent example of how to organise accommodation for groups which naturally contain a broad mix of interests. The house is easily comfortable and entertaining enough in it's own right to keep some guests occupied at home whilst the rest go of exploring The Valleys. Suffice to say everyone was very complementary about the house during and after their stay and I am sure if another event looms that requires group accommodation we will be back.
Port Talbot/Cwmafan is a sad struggling area though, so as with most costal towns in South Wales you will need your own transport to get away into the hills.

“This place is great!”
Reviewed 26 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

A group of 10 people stayed for the weekend for my birthday, and from start to finish everything has been excellent. Absolutely loved the open plan living space, with super comfy sofas and chairs, a kitchen which has everything you need and more! The bedrooms are also spot on, clean, quiet and comfortable, all en-suite and cool with it. Every single one of my friends loved the place. I would definitely recommend this place for large groups, mountain bikers, walkers or just a place to relax and unwind. Ok, so the immediate location isn't picture perfect, but it's good enough, that's the only negative thing I can say, but really don't let that put you off.
