Popped in here as we wanted something other than the usual pub food on a Friday night while we were visiting the area. Although the place is small and maybe a bit frayed around the edges, we thought the menu had a good range of Thai dishes and reasonable wine prices. Having the combi platter for two as a starter was great as there was a good selection of things and we were impressed with the dipping sauces and it all tasted like it was made in house and not pre prepared and bought in. For the main we had crispy duck with a plum sauce which was fantastic, it was a lovely and light plum sauce and not the general dark gloopy one you often get and as it came with rice was a very generous portion size. We also had a pork dish with homemade herb sauce, really unusual as it was heavy with Kaffir lime leaves and chilli but excellent flavour and we have never had anything like it in a Thai restaurant before but would love to have it again! unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert! The waiter we had was also friendly and general service was good.
