Stopped off for sandwiches and coffee. All served promptly and all good and tasty. Free parking near the hotel was an added bonus. Staff seemed to be friendly enough. Hotel decor is a bit dated and dark.

The staff here are excellent, very friendly and so helpful. Really made the stay pleasant. The room was spacious and clean. Lots of hot water and clean towels for the shower. There was a very good selection of food for breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Two things to look out for if you are staying here - the coffee is very bad for breakfast so if you are a coffee lover you will be disappointed - it is almost burned /burnt coffee that comes out in an old pot to you! Also- the front of the hotel was so noisy at night - dogs barking most of the night!!

Had a family gathering here recently. There was over 130 family and friends attended for a family funeral. It was terrible. The food was nice & most of the staff were lovely but not trained enough. That toilets needed attention & the staff were alerted but nothing was done.
The owner did not make himself known to the widow and when she said this to him a few days later he treated her very badly, I won't say what he said but what he did to an elderly widow who was after burying her husband is beyond belief!
It is such a shame that a lovely hotel has an owner who is not a nice business man.

this is a nice hotel we only stayed here for one night. Rooms are very dated especially the bathroom. Food was very nice. Bar was nice and quiet for having a quiet drink. staff were very friendly and there to help.

I've lived in Bandon for several years but never had a meal in here before.

The menu is very extensive and has a fine selection.

I had the mixed grill and asked not to get the lamb cutlet but an extra sausage.

I got the cutlet anyway along with an extra sausage.

It was a fine, generous portion and all was very tasty.

Staff, when you can find them, are very friendly

I had to go out to the reception to order and later again to pay.

The hotel itself is old and looks worn out but due to tourism from the attraction of Irish Civil War leaders who stayed there they are unlikely to change that.

Great food and lovely staff (if you can find them!).

Stayed: September 2017, travelled solo
