I was partially raised in this area North Commons to be more precise but Carlingford and Omeath are so amazingly special to me. I've had the most amazing childhood memories to my present age of 50 something. Hopefully they will continue like today for example in Cafe Rosa. We had turned up for the blessing of the graves but not being great at being sad at a graveside missing loved ones my wife my brother my dog and myself headed for Cafe Rosa, unintentionally but it was all that was on offer. Not expecting much we ordered 3 coffees from incredibly friendly people and a lovely hour was spent reminiscing on our childhood. We could not ever imagine as kids visiting my Uncle Michael Fagan & Peader Elmore in their butcher shop not 30 mts away that some 50 years later we would be drinking amazing Americanos on the same street. Cafe Rosa is a hidden gem great food, great coffee and above all typical Omeath warmth. Even the clientele were nice friendly and talkative. Oh by the way what a view of Warrenpoint. Please don't tell anyone its our secret and my dog Teddy and his girlfriend Holly loved it
