I was partially raised in this area North Commons to be more precise but Carlingford and Omeath are so amazingly special to me. I've had the most amazing childhood memories to my present age of 50 something. Hopefully they will continue like today for example in Cafe Rosa. We had turned up for the blessing of the graves but not being great at being sad at a graveside missing loved ones my wife my brother my dog and myself headed for Cafe Rosa, unintentionally but it was all that was on offer. Not expecting much we ordered 3 coffees from incredibly friendly people and a lovely hour was spent reminiscing on our childhood. We could not ever imagine as kids visiting my Uncle Michael Fagan & Peader Elmore in their butcher shop not 30 mts away that some 50 years later we would be drinking amazing Americanos on the same street. Cafe Rosa is a hidden gem great food, great coffee and above all typical Omeath warmth. Even the clientele were nice friendly and talkative. Oh by the way what a view of Warrenpoint. Please don't tell anyone its our secret and my dog Teddy and his girlfriend Holly loved it

Visited here Sunday 25th March whilst travelling in the area. We had visited last year on holiday and we're really delighted with our food and the service. Again could not fault the food mum had a delicious jam and coconut sponge with custard it really was exceptional. My husband had a scone with jam and butter and I had tea and toast. It was very busy always a good sign. The older lady serving was lovely and we remembered her from last year. The only negative was the younger girl serving our table who was not very welcoming and we felt like a nuisance. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Regular stop here for a coffee & scone when out on the rothar. Never actually had anything else on the menu, but it does look good when I see it coming out. Nice relaxed atmosphere here

Called in to Cafe Rosa in Omeath (it's not in Dundalk) next to The Greenway. Had the large breakfast and their homemade pear and almond tart and I was delighted with both. Even my decaf cappuccino was lovely. I couldn't fault a thing and I'm pretty picky. Staff were lovely and food arrived quickly and was good value. Well worth a visit. I will certainly be back.
