A treasure with caring & attentive staff. The selection is superb, the ambience wonderful, and the attention of detail for gluten free issues outstanding.
We went twice!!

This was across the roads from our digs in a nice quirky area of Athlone. We had a lunch and a breakfast here. Both very good. They also had a yummy range of cakes on display, but I didn't try them, tempting though they were. Ambience good, staff fine...what more is needed?

Was in for coffee one day, and had a scone and tea another day. Nice coffee and tea, and a very tasty scone, jam and marmalade. Delicious and well presented.
Not a major criticism, but they could stretch the menu a little bit – e.g. I’d add brown scones over seedy ones, but I was just as glad they didn't have them as the white ones are delicious and very fresh anyway!
Nice, quiet place to watch the world go by, particularly with the heavy rain. Pleasant staff. Recommended.

Booked a table (when we were passing) for 8 people for lunch at 2:30. Having mis-timed a boat trip we did not arrive until 3:30. Staff could not have been more helpful. Fantastic food. Best soup and pittas in particular. Would go back to Athlone just to eat here. Well done ladies, great job. Tip: do not ring, the phone doesn't work.
