Description: Jacks Coastguard Restaurant is a landmark building overlooking Rossbeigh and Inch Peninsula in the seaside village of Cromane between Kilorglin & Glenbeigh on the Ring of Kerry route. Nestled against the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy panoramic sea and mountain views in one of Kerrys Top Restaurants recently named Best Seafood Restaurant in Ireland by well respected foodie Georgina Campbell as well as listings with Bridgestone & Michelin Guides. The Station Bar and Coastguard Restaurant successfully combine old world charm with modern elegance.Guests can linger over a drink in the bustling Station Bar or enjoy the soft tones of the piano through the restaurant by our resident pianist JP Murphy. Only the finest and freshest of seafood is used to create dishes that would rival the most discerning of palate. Signature dishes such a Cromane Mussels, Tiger Prawns or perfectly seared Scallops should not be missed. For the unwilling seafood diner, our succulent Fillet of Beef should suffice nicely.

Myself and my girlfriend have been to Jack's on many occasions now, the food is always of a high standard, the restaurant is always clean with a lovely atmosphere.

The crispy salmon is without a doubt a speciality to the extent my other half is sad whenever salmon on any other menu is not crispy salmon.

The wine list is full of choice and a wine for every taste and occasion.

The bar is full of atmosphere and the staff are attentive and helpful. Even to the extent at about midnight I wanted a latte and there was no problem for the bar staff

The view is spectacular get their while the sun is up to enjoy it and stay to enjoy everything else.

We had a rainy day seeing the Ring of Kerry. Stopped with our group for a Hot Toddy and Seafood Chowder. Also ordered mussels. Everything was SUPER! Strongly recommend this place! Worth finding and having a meal here!

We got married here last month and had a fantastic day. Brian and Pauline were brilliant at organizing our day and looking after us on the day. They were really proactive in engaging with us every step of the way to make sure the reception in Jack’s was awesome. We would like to say a big thanks to them.

Have been here for dinner a number of times over the years and the food is really great. Great ambience in the dining room and beautiful views out to the Dingle and Iveragh peninsulas.

What a fabulous evening we all had. There was a group of nine altogether and from the moment we entered the front door and met with a prompt friendly bar man, to being greeted to our table and served by Brian, a great host and a gentleman with the upmost manner, just amazing! The food from starters- scallops to the most tasty mussels and soup to main courses of steak, wild salmon and the most generous seafood platter, I can honestly say we all agreed we have not eaten food this good and so amazingly cooked in a very long time, thank you also to the lovely Mary and her team.We will definitely not need an excuse to come back really soon.
