My boyfriend and I stayed at Coffey’s in May 2016 on a weekend trip to Kerry. The B&B itself was beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as well, breakfast was lovely. However, what we were most impressed with was the Coffey’s themselves. Anne and Finnbarr were more than accommodating when car issues left us stranded in Cromane (just outside of Kilorglin). The Coffey’s truly came to our rescue and helped us salvage the remainder of our weekend! I highly recommend staying with them, even if you are just passing through Kilorglin. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay in this comfortable and welcoming B&B in Killorglin! It overlooks the river where you can watch the locals fishing for salmon, yet walking distance from great pubs (Bunkers), and restaurants (Jacks), and shopping. Ann and Finn were awesome hosts, and the hot breakfast was perfect! I want to go back for Puck Fest!!!

        Reviewed 25 March 2016

In recent years I have done a lot of travelling staying in a wide variety of accommodation types and places around the world and it has been a while since I stayed in B & B accommodation in Ireland. The reason that I picked Coffeys was because there were no hotels in Killorglin so I decided to opt for B&B in the locality rather than travelling.

The guest house is situated on the riverbank within easy walking distance of everything in the area. We were met by Anne when we arrived, she was so friendly and welcoming and full of useful information. We were shown to a lovely room with a beautiful view over the river where we could watch the fishermen patiently (and successfully) fishing all day. There were swans gracefully floating by or more impressively coming in to land. Next morning we had breakfast cooked by the lovely Finbar which was delicious. The choice was very good and very tasty.

Throughout our stay of four days Anne and Finbar continued to be very friendly, eager to help and make our stay enjoyable. Their information, efficiency, humour and friendliness were second to none and at the end of our stay leaving there was like leaving old friends. Would we stay there again? - absolutely! Thank you both for the hospitality.

We selected Coffey's Rivers Edge because of good reviews and also after a bad experience in another guesthouse in the town of Killorglin.
Coffey's B & B turned out to be an inspired choice. Great location, lovely accommodation (does as it says on the tin) and a very nice welcome even though I got the check-in time wrong.
A good nights sleep in a well appointed room and a wonderfully warm reception from Anne and Fin in the morning when we arrived in for breakfast.
This is one to choose if staying in the town. I don't think you can go wrong.

Beautiful house in lovely location overlooking the river, as it's name says. Bedroom is spotless and beautiful decor. The owners are friendly and very helpful and a mine of information about the local area. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served promptly. Its only a few minutes walk from the square and very convenient for 'a night out on the town'.
