What a beautiful dining venue to sit overlooking the River Moy in Ballina and enjoy some fine seafood. We started with an outstanding seafood chowder followed by two excellent salmon and scallop dinners. The service was excellent, a fine wine list and the General Manager Edel Sweeney made sure everything was well taken care of. My wife and I look forward to our next visit to the Ballina Manor Hotel!

We had booked Ballina Manor because my husband is a keen fisherman and he had a day s fishing booked for the Moy. Unfortunately we where delayed and arrived very late to the hotel We commented why we where so late and on hearing our predicament the reception staff where genuinely horrified and offered compassion and concern .
We felt we had arrived to a safe place .We found the hotel very pleasant The staff from reception to waiting and bar staff so warm and friendly. Nothing was a bother. The rooms where large clean and comfortable. Breakfast was relaxed and plenty of choice. The Brown bread to die for. We ate on our second night in the restaurant. The food was great and our waiter charming. We will definitely return Thank you so much. Your kindness we will never forget. Breige and Jim Maguire

Today, my friends and I had a scrumptious lunch in the Manor Hotel in Ballina. The surroundings are luxurious and the food excellent. The staff particularly Noel, who seemed to serve all tables, is a true professional, pleasant and exceptionally helpful, not just in serving our table but in helping solve the problem I had with my Ipad with which I wished to take photographs.

The only thing going for it is the location in centre of town.
The receptionists are brusque and indifferent.
Not helpful or welcoming- just sit at computer.
One even smirked when she handed the bill - €10 for a really cr.. breakfast!
Not a nice place to stay!
