“Comfortable and centrally located”
Reviewed 21 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We stayed here with two children for a family reunion. The apartment is clean and spacious with lovely views. It is in a very convenient location in the town of belmullet which is the main town for this area so it is easy to drive to other places nearby or walk to shops and pubs. The area has plenty to see and do.
Eamon was very helpful and easy to get hold of with any minor queries and made us welcome. I would happily stay there again.

“Beautiful apartment in a stunning location - best find yet!”

The photos on the website don't do this place justice.

The apartment was easy to find, just across the road from McDonnells pub right next to the town centre.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and appeared as if it had just been renovated.
It had two single beds in one room and a double bed in the master bedroom, they were ridiculously comfortable! The beds, sheets & towels were brand new!

The bathroom was very elegant and had an instant heat power shower.

The apartment itself was warm and spacious and decorated to a high standard, the living room has a view over the bay and the bedrooms overlook the town below.

We had a ball here, the people were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

We did the Erris head walk which is just spectacular, breathtaking views of Eagle Island as you walk along an impressive cliff walk. There are signposts for the Wild Atlantic Way dotted around which guide you on the different walks.

If the weather is good, get down early to the Blacksod lighthouse (noted for forecasting the weather for the D-Day landings) and take a boat trip out to the beautiful Inishkea Islands.

We rented bikes and Kayaks from a rental shop across the road from the apartment, Mícheál gave us great advice on trails and the routes to take.

We didn't feel like cooking much, if we weren't wrecked from bikes we were hungover! The full irish breakfast in An Ceibhin, was absolutely gorgeous, they have the best black and white pudding I have ever tasted!

Just down the mainstreet is also a little Cafe/Bakery called An Bunion Blasta, I highly recommend Dawn's cream cakes! They were amazing!

If your heading here, the first port of call has to be McDonnells pub, the pints are creamy, the craic is out of this world and there's music almost every night of the week!

While we were there the Irish times voted it the best place to go wild in Ireland!
