I have just gotten back from Ireland and the Castlewood House was one of the B&B's I stayed. This B&B is absolutely beautiful! The Breakfast was outstanding! Helen and Brian are wonderful and very helpful. Dingle is a great area to visit. I would recommend visiting Dingle and staying at the Castlewood House.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 10. It was a very large room with a great water view. I would ask to stay in this room again.

Castlewood House is a lovely B&B. Brian and Helen have a beautiful home and setting, but the attribute that sets this place apart from others is their attention to detail. Nothing is left untouched by their sense of beauty in all things. Wraps to use while sitting outdoors, take away coffee, living flowers, candlelight in the evening, soft music, beautifully presented breakfasts all create a very inviting atmosphere. It is elegant and yet friendly.
We enjoyed our three days very much. It was a treat to tour this beautiful area and come "home" each evening to this warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Outstanding B&B, clean, modern, great breakfast. Helen is a gracious and helpful hostess. A short walk into town for great music and food. we stayed in room 10 which had a beautiful view of the tides going in and out and the shorebirds. Highly recommend for comfort and convenience.

Just arrived back from an 11 day tour if Ireland and luckily had the pleasure of staying at Castlewood House for 3 nights. From the moment you arrive you are treated like friends and both Brian and Helen couldn't do enough for us during our stay. They helped us out with local walks, restaurants, pubs (most important thing in ireland!!) and any other queries we had about our trip.
The house it's self is fairly new and has been been purpose built by Brian and Helen and has been furnished to a very high standard, the rooms are large and extremely comfortable and bathrooms are ideal with separate shower and whirlpool bath.
The breakfasts we had were fantastic which alone are worth a return visit!!!!
All in all Castlewood House is a credit to everybody involved in it's running and is some of the best accommodation we have stayed in any where in the world.
Can't wait to return

We started our week's hike at the Dingle Peninsula at Castlewood. Not the cheapest of our B&B's, but worth every euro. Quality in all details and great hospitality.
