The house is magnificent and our room was wonderfully spacious and well decorated. Bathroom was full of light and also spacious. We had a perfect stay and the owners show a lot of care for their guests. The sunny breakfast room is also fantastic. Congratulations to Helen and Brian for this great place!

More like a little boutique hotel than a guesthouse, the owners really know what they are doing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and they had full bathrooms with a separate shower. They probably cater a lot for the older crowd because there are hand rails and little shower seats.
Lovely location but a 10 minute walk out of town. The breakfast was brilliant and the dining room is magnificent, the only thing that could be improved upon is the music which was a little monotonous.

Room Tip: Try get a room with a sea view.

Delicious, varied choices at breakfast - pears in red wine indicate that the unusual is provided as well as the neatest sizeable "Full Irish"; timely advice and bookings made for superb local restaurants; this is better than an hotel! Brian & Helen are entitled to their high official ratings (which they do not flaunt - but merely earn). A glass of wine pre- or post- restaurant available (and a choice too).

Room Tip: Book early! We had a front room by the road, but the glazing is so good that we heard nothing. Temperature sensibly controlled, so no desperation to open window for cooling. Step outside if you wish to hear the gulls.

this is such a great place to stay- only had the chance to stay 1 night but will be back. rooms fantastic- and the bath! Owner friendly and helpful. Then the breakfast- i would come back for that alone again- and all for a very good price.

We stayed here for 2 nights May 26-27 2012. The Owners couldn't be more helpful and gave us advice on the best tours and eateries around town. The Hotel is excellently run and staff are friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and the menu extensive. Take away coffee and tea was available in the front hall which is a nice touch before you start your day driving. Wifi wasn't available in the room which was disappointing, but it was available at reception. I would recommend staying here.
