Our family of 3 adults chose the Coachmans Townhouse Hotel as our place to stay/lodge while touring Kenmare because of it's centered location. We were very excited to find a parking spot right our front on the curb where our vehicle never moved for 24 hours. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious, quiet and clean. The staff(pub & hotel) was very friendly and informative when asked about finding the best historic spots while strolling around Kenmare. The Irish breakfast was served down in the pub dining area and was delicious. Great visit & highly recommended!

Room Tip: Unless you are a pubber, I would recommend upper levels towards the back/rear of hotel!

I can honestly say that I was totally surprised by the size of the pub and the size of our room it's a bit like the tardis looks small on the outside huge inside. The room was enormous. Siobhan & Patrick along with the rest of the staff made us very welcome and explained about the music on every night I have to say it was great. The food is excellent a quick tip go the Beef & Guiness Stew absolutely beautiful and the breakfast is worth having. Once again thanks to Siobhan & Patrick for giving us a great break

This hotel is in the middle of Kenmare - a beautiful Irish village - however the day we arrived was a village fair with all the streets closed. We received a wonderful welcome but were concerned that we would not be able to reserve a table for dinner due to the fair. No problem said the manager we always have room for our guests and gave us the front window seat. We were given one of the biggest room we have stayed in (Number 12) across the whole front of the hotel which despite the amount of people on the streets was very quiet. We were also able to park our car around the back. Dinner was fabulous, so was the entertainment and breakfast was filling. A wonderful traditional Irish hotel and hospitality.

Room Tip: Ask for room 12 on the first floor - huge!. There is also a lift to all levels.

needed a hotel with either a lift or ground floor rooms as i had my 89yr old mother with me, i was also booking last minute so i was not hopeful but the Coachmans hotel came up trumps. Our rooms were large and comfy and most importantly clean. The staff are to be praised for their welcomes and nothing was to much trouble, even parked my car for me ! This hotel is right in the centre of a busy town so u must expect some noise at night but the rooms at the back of the hotel are very quiet. Breakfast was very good.

We were strolling through the city doing some shopping and just needed a small bite to eat. Cute little place that is family run. All we got was some drinks and the cottage pie that we split. All was tastey.

The only reason I have to give them 4 stars is because on the night we went we couldn't pay by credit card because their internet was down and their machines weren't working so we were forced to pay cash... which meant we had to walk down to an ATM. That was a bit unfortunate.
