This cottage is set just above the town of Kenmare, around a 30 mins walk. The views make the walk more than worthwhile. The master bedroom has 2 patio doors overlooking the beautiful views. It’s a large bungalow, the beds are extremely comfortable with a plentiful supply of linen. The owner replied quickly to emails and clearly wanted us to have a great stay. He’s even followed up afterwards to see if there are are suggestions for improvements for future guests. There was a lovely welcome basket, milk in the fridge and with enough for a snack and drink if you arrive late. There are supermarkets in the town for shopping and lots of pubs to eat in. We used it as a base to tour the peninsulas and Kilarney National Park is 30 mins away and on a good evening, a joyous drive! The lounge was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with all you need to self cater. The photos don’t do this justice. I visited with my parents so the separate rooms and bathrooms suited us very well. The ring of Kerry and Beara are on your doorstep and make a lovely day out. Overall, a great stay at a super cottage.
Had a lovely time in kenmare, close to so many amazing sights, lovely house with plenty of space and everything you could need supplied, would not hesitate to return,5 stars from me, thanks!
This property has everything you need, three bedrooms with very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Situated on a hill in a quiet spot above Kenmare the view is fantastic. Set in a large garden. Everything was supplied in the property to a high standard and there is a goodies pack when you arrive. There are 2 lounge areas so if you want to be separate you can be and there is a good supply of books and games. Kenmare is a wonderful place to stay very quaint with shops and bars and very central for seeing the whole of Kerry which is a part of Ireland not to be missed. Also Cork not to far away. Been home 2 weeks and still thinking about the place.

Beautiful views from the cottage. The place was spotless and contained everything that families would need. A lovely enclosed garden was ideal for our dog and the 3 bedrooms and 2 lounges allowed plenty of space for everyone. Gerry was a very obliging and welcoming host presenting us with a wonderful and unexpected basket of goodies. There was also a stock of dishwasher tablets and all the condiments you could need. It is a good walk into Kenmare but uphill coming back. Quite do-able for the energetic. Kenmare is a very good central base for the Derry peninsular and has some great restaurants and 2 good supermarkets.
