Owner description: We are a small business, principally running a commercial sheep farm. We also have a passion for nature, the countryside and conservation. We embrace both business & tourism in an effort to make your experience of Ireland a memorable one. Agri-Tourism, Eco-Tourism, we warmly welcome you here. We are a private park, we maintain everything at our own expense which is why we make a small charge on entry. There is much of Kerry that is inaccessible, our park offers access through well maintained paths together with facilities as you may expect at any attraction. Washrooms, wheelchair access and much more. All of this takes funds to maintain and to enhance your experience here on Beara.
Useful Information: Activities for older children, Wheelchair access, Activities for young children, Food available for purchase, Bathroom facilities

“wouldnt rate this at all really.”

I visited this recently and was disapointed. Myself and my husband went with our two small children for a day out. The area itself is lovely, however, there are some far better views in Kerry. Indeed it is a sheep farm, and you wont forget it as there is an awful lot of poo everywhere - understandably. My main gripe was the fact that it wasnt particularly child friendly. If you have a buggy, dont bother, and small children will struggle to pass the streams via stepping stones. On account of this, we stayed about 20 mins and headed back. There is nothing particularly worth seeing, a nice waterfall, thats it.

“A small peace of Heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 March 2006

The scenery at Glen Inchaquin is spectacular; some of the finest and certainly the most unspoilt I can ever remember.

Here we have a sheep farmer with great vision who decided to create something special. Tucked away at the head of a most beautiful valley is this 300 ft waterfall which has man made walkway created on each side. My wife and I made the hour long treck with ease and indeed without specialist shoes. Donal, the owner, explained that there was an entrance fee of 4 euros fifty cents as this is priately owned and privately maintained. When we saw the extent of the work done we didn't mind one bit, really.
Afterwards we enjoyed a fine session of tea and scones around a roaring fire in the farmhouse!!! Donal himself proved to be a mine of information on the area and on the varied plant-life.

To see the Waterfall in full spate after heavy rainfall was quite a sight. Whenever the wind blows a certain direction we were told that the water literally flows upwards!!!!

We will be back!!!!
