We had a lovely stay here. Our room was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We didn't miss televisions or radios.
The waiter is a real asset to the place- Jeremiah. His suggestions for day trips were spot on. We enjoyed all our meals and he played a part in that.
The food was really good- particularly the evening meals. Perhaps a little more could go into the breakfast buffet.

We certainly to return to Ard Na Sidhe some day- we had a wonderful time.

This is a beautiful former residence converted into a lovely Inn. The accommodations are lovely and fully appointed, the grounds overlooking the lake were full of blooms and wonderful to stroll through. We loved to relax in the drawing room with a roaring fire and a glass of wine. The breakfasts were delicious as was the one dinner we ate there. The staff were always pleasant and helpful - especially Jeremiah! This was our favorite stay in Ireland, I wish we could have stayed for a month!

I can't say enough about the wonderful 3 nights we had at the Ard na Sidhe Country House. We arrived late at night following our 3.5 hour drive in from Dublin and despite the kitchen being closed.... Jeremiah (a true Irish gentleman) arranged a cold plate consisting of various cheeses, meats, salads and delicious breads. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch throughout the entire stay. Debbie was a great host explaining much of the home's history each day during our stay to my wife. We especially enjoyed the walks on the grounds and the scenic views of the lake.

If you are looking for wild nights in Ireland... this is not the place for you. It is a property of peace, relaxation and beauty. No noise from TVs or radio....just a refreshing country place not far from the quaint village of Killorglin.

Looking forward to going back soon to fish on the lake and play some golf at one of the nearby courses. This is something we did not have enough time for on this visit. Can't wait.

Room Tip: We stayed in the newer part separated from the main house. Rooms are small.

We've traveled a lot and stayed in many many nice places, but I have to say that Ard na Sidhe captured our hearts with its lodgy feel, terrific view of the lake, and remote atmosphere. Be sure to make your dinner reservation when you make your room reservation because the drive to alternative restaurants is challenging. You won't be disappointed with the hotel, food service, or grounds.

Room Tip: As with all of the nice hotels in Ireland, make dinner reservations at the time of booking your room.

This property may seem like the most remote place you can go in Ireland, but it is very convenient for visiting Killarney and the Ring of Kerry area. This country manor house is spectacular. An incredible property with amazing manicured gardens. The restaurant is as good as it gets. We ate here three nights and were beyond pleased each night. The breakfasts are wonderful and service is top notch. I don't see how you can wrong here. One of the most special places I have ever had the pleasure of staying!

Room Tip: Garden Room was great!
