This is a really lovely Canarian house set amongst the vineyards with views of volcanoes from the windows. The huge sun lounge (which runs across the whole front of the house) was a great place to have breakfast, or to have a drink as the sun set - when we stayed, the weather was very windy and not always hot, so it was a brilliant place to be protected from the elements. The garden was also sheltered from the winds, and the wood burner in the lounge was cozy in the winter evenings.
The rooms are all high ceilinged and simply but pleasantly furnished. The owner responded really quickly to my questions (in excellent English), and was very helpful.
The house is situated in the middle of the island so it is easy to reach lovely beaches and extraordinary scenery and walks within a few minutes' drive. It is also good to walk from the door around the quiet lanes of La Geria.
We had a great time here - if you want something a bit different from an identikit villa in a resort, this is it.
