Arrived after 7pm to check in after being assured someone would be on the after hours phone to check us in. Turns out no one answered after 30 times trying to call leaving messages and emails.
It’s ok though, because they avoided our calls all the next day after we decided to continue driving the following morning.
Pretty awesome car park tho for sleeping in the back of your hatch back!

The Whitsunday Golf Club returned to the Reef Gateway Hotel function room for their Christmas Party and Presentation evening after 3 years and Events Manager Paula Hovey did a great job looking after us. The set up and decorations were most attractive, the staff looked after us really well and everyone enjoyed the evening. Thank you Paula.

The ribs were good but at $40 felt like we bought the whole beast, not just one meal off it. Drinks were expensive. The salad bar which went with a main meal was uninteresting and fairly tasteless.
Would not bother going back.
Stayed here on a road trip. Room was very tired with holes in carpet and paint coming off walls. But the best was to come. All rooms overlook a courtyard. When we stayed there was a 21st and a band. The noise was horrendous, we could not hear ourselves in our room and despite complaining it did not get quieter. The only solace was that the noise ceased at 1030pm but by then we were over it. If you want a relaxing nights sleep don’t bother with this place.
