Had a lovely meal here on a very busy Easter week Thursday evening. We arrived at 5 and just got the last table ,people after us were waiting 1.5 hrs for a table. It is always busy and the tables are a little close together but it has a lively atmosphere and the service is excellent for such a busy place .
We had 2 pink gins and pink lemonades which were nice but pricey at £7.95 each. We shared a starter of Dublin bay prawns which were in a delicious sauce but came with fried potato cubes which was odd. We also shared salt and chilli prawn crackers which were just prawn crackers sprinkled with salt and chilli powder . Our mains of shakin beef and honey chicken were really good and tasty, however a side was not included and rice was 1.75 and a tiny bowl of noodles was a whopping £2.50 . This was really ridiculous I have never been given such a small portion of a cheap item like noodles especially costing £2.50! We took our desserts home and they were lovely at £2.50 each or £5.95 for 3 . Overall we loved our meal but just feel that they charge too much for some items especially sides. Bill for 2 was £61.25 ( see bill)
