Gorgeous one bed cottage with a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting room with digital TV, and an outdoor space with a private hot tub. Although this cottage is set amongst some other accommodation, it still feels very private and secluded.
We drove up from London so arrived quite late - about 11pm. We had already arranged this with the owners who said it would be no problem. At about 10:15pm we had a phone call from the owners just to check that we hadn't got lost but in no way felt as though we were inconveniencing them by arriving late. Even though it was pouring with rain, as soon as we arrived they were there to let us in, check we were ok, and show us how the hot tub worked! Genuinely felt like they couldn't do enough to help us - we saw them for a quick chat a few times during our stay but they weren't overbearing.
There were a few goodies (as well as a vase of fresh flowers!) left for us in the cottage which meant we had enough to get by for breakfast in the morning. The town is a short 5/10 minute drive away with a supermarket and a few quaint shops.
We only spent a few nights here but packed loads in to our time. We visited a nearby castle, botanic gardens, steam railway and a farm. There are also some lovely places to eat close by. All of these were recommended in the welcome pack from the owners. Some lovely walks straight from the cottage, and we were welcomed by the owners to explore their acres of private land.
Such a good place for a getaway and to relax! Highly, highly recommend.

A lovely cottage that's extremely well equipped. The cottage was spotless and the owners were extremely welcoming and friendly. A welcome pack was provided with local goodies that added a really nice personal touch. The location is very peaceful and relaxing with lots to see and do in the area. There is wildlife in abundance and also no light pollution - so on a clear night the night sky itself is a real show. Llandeilo itself has lots of interesting shops and places to eat. The hot tub was great. A lovely place to stay.
we had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage which was just perfect for relaxing and unwinding - especially in the hot tub at dusk! The cottage is beautifully decorated and fully equipped for self-catering to a very high standard.
The peace and tranquility afforded by the location was worth it on it's own - and Mary's Bara Brith was the cherry on top of the icing on the cake. Fantastic location. Fantastic quality. Fantastic time - thank you
