This bar took some finding, hidden away down a back street, a not very obvious pub sign, and set back slightly from the footpath.
However, once inside it's brilliant. 9 keg and 8 cask ales, those that we tried were all bang on the mark for quality, not too pricey either, a couple of ciders and a good and not overly expensive wine list are complemented what looks like good and ample portions of food, although I didn't eat there.
The bar staff were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their ales. The toilets were spotless.
All in all it's worth tracking down this hidden gem.
