We ate here a couple of times during our holiday in Kilnsey and were impressed with the food. The steaks, burgers and fish & chips were all good fare. A little pricey but theprobably wirth it considering the size of the portions we got. It's an old fashioned pub with plenty of beams and taxidermy so maybe not to everyone's taste but I found it more than pleasant. On our second night we'd booked a table for 7 + our dog but they'd misheard and only had a table for 4 available. The lady was extremely helpful though and allowed us to use a private function rrom which actually worked out perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant at all times. A big thumbs up from us.

We visited on 2 nights, and on both occasions they were out of Lamb which was on the menu - the lasagne was disappointing but the steaks were good as was the Yorkshire supper, - a gammon topped with cheese and egg. Great fire in the bar area and plenty of tables in other rooms.

Couldn't get into any pubs/ restaurants around Grassington over the Dickensian weekend festivals in December, travelled out less than 5 miles to the Tennant Arms Hotel in Kilnsey for an evening meal. Great food , great atmesphere, excellent choice of beers and wines. Would recommend this restaurant to any staying near bye.

We have been visiting this pub occasionally for several years now and would have rated it 4 or even 5, but our most recent visit was somewhat of a disappointment. Quality of the crag burger was very mediocre, meat was very dry, as was the bun. The other meals were ok. When we came to pay we were charged more than the price stated in the menu and were given the excuse that it must have been an old one that had been missed when they were updated. No attempt was made to adjust our bill and the implied comment was 'tough'.
