Maybe we were lucky but our week was an unbeatable combination of good skiing and great weather with lovely atmosphere on the slopes, loads of blue runs and a French feel to the town. BASS (Tom was brilliant) was an excellent ski school recommended by Simply Morzine who looked after us very well (apartment and meals at La Chaumiere) as did friendly staff at Felix who kitted us all out. Look forward to next season

In the middle off the Portes du Soleil region of France fantastic skiing from the Nyon (easy to mid skiing) to the higher resort of Avoriaz (good if snow conditions poor) You will find everything you need in alomost 250km of piste, from the Swiss Wall to the travelator on Plenny there is skiing for all ...Apres ski good (not an Austrian resort though!!) and plenty for families..
