I went there for a dinner with Maggie after a visit to Champagne Krug in Reims. It was a special menu curated to match with the various champagne Krug we were going to pair the meal with.
Chef Arnaud Lallement has really upped the ante at this top establishment since he has got his 3rd Michelin star
Not only was every dish delicious and creative but chef Arnaud showed his mastery of champagne and food pairing
Bravo! Hats of to the Master.

There are twenty five restaurants in France that have the coveted three Michelin star rating and this is one of them. It's a hotel too and if you want to eat here and you should then book a room and make a night of it. Lovely hotel in grounds and with a covered pool give you plenty to do to work up an appetite for the ten course tasting menu with signature dishes in manageable portions. Appropriately swift and knowledgeable service with absolutely no pointing at my plate while each course was clearly and succinctly described. The caviar and potato dish was one of the best things I have ever had in my mouth and the chef's reputation for sauces is well deserved. ( Each course had a sauce that had the kind of deep flavour only achieved after 'proper ' cooking. )He also graciously appeared three times during the evening for a chat. The weakest dish was the tomato salad - to my taste the balls of tomato purée were too heavy to work well and needed the ( fabulous) bread to tone them down enough to eat. You also get a slab of the bread to take home in a bag afterwards. It's a tradition and it makes you smile on the way out. And don't dismiss the barley sugar and sherbet lollies served before the dessert - an adult twist in a children's format. Jars of coffee beans are swirled under your nose for you to choose your perfect cup and both they and the cheese are served from trolleys that look like daleks. All of this gives a light touch to a great meal and experience. You want great service and excellent food at this end of the market but you don't want to feel uncomfortable whilst enjoying it and here provides the perfect setting for a truly fabulous dining experience.

The food is soso some good some bad, most dishes is on the salty side, pretty mediocrely (i had eaten much better michelin tht this), the service is ok and friendly stuffs, do t really pay attention to tou sometime and dont care what u have ordered. However, we has ordered a la carte, it tAkes like about 30 mins between each courses we end up take like 3 and half hours to finish with no dessert coz it is too late ! I advised tht plz hv enough time to spare if you want to visit this place.

We had the ten course tasting menu with champagne and wine pairings. We started in the veranda with champagne and selected amuse-bouche along with other diners. We were given menus that we discussed amongst ourselves and then with a member of the service team. This was very helpful and created a sense of expectation. Our expectations were met with wonderfully creative food that was simple but stunned at the same time, sharp service in French and English (when our French failed us) and the seating which was well- balanced while maintaining a certain level of intimacy. The pacing of the meals was not rushed allowing us time to relish in each dish and to share our individual thoughts afterwards. There were playful moments when the chief brought his sense of humor to the fore i.e. lollipops to start the dessert course. This is a fabulous experience; one where the passion of the chief and his team constantly shine through.

This Michelin three star restaurant did not quite live up to expectations. While the numerous serving staff were efficient there was a slightly impersonal feel about it. The food was delicious except for a very over salted salmon dish and an unimaginative poularde on the menu. Two a la carte courses were perfect. A big budget is required as one menu and one carte menu with aperitif and bottle of wine could reach €500.
