Wonderful sweeping views. Rooms in main hotel are small but small and clever so don't feel small, if you know what I mean. Service is exceptional, as is breakfast. Parking is neat and available. Nice (steep!) stroll to beach - gentle walk to village centre. Pool is small! Sauna and steam room are fine but no more. It's expensive for what it is but good. Try find a deal, you wouldn't want to pay rack rates. Go for sea view room.

With the current hotel star definitions changing, l’Agapa is a classic though modern feel equipped 4 to 5 star hotel in appearance, location and traditional ‘hospitality polite service’ of partially seasonal staff.
It is located in a very peaceful and airy location, nice garden with effective creative parking facilities, no cars to be seen.
The stunning views come to you from almost all over the hotel, especially in the restaurant.

The light decorated rooms have varied free-of-charge daily stocked non-alcoholic beverages in the minibar, coffee and tea, fruit and a nice attention of local sweets. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms but we are in Brittany and it was at our stay over 25 C˚ at daytime. Just open the windows and have some mosquito spray in season.
For true spa seekers it is basic but nice for killing time, included in the price and with a sea-view terrace that might be a bit small if the hotel is fully booked.
We did miss out an outside terrace for a drink before lunch or dinner, as you don’t want to sit in between bathrobes at that time. But the inside bar area next to the restaurant is a joy for again the views. The one Michelin star lunch and dining is at it’s standards with a nice classic/modern twist in menu and the charming sommeliere of duty took very good care of us within drinks and wine choice. Including a nice explanation and tasting of Brittany Whisky’s.
The breakfast buffet of 20 euros is of wide choice and very good quality, but you can also just order coffee and pastries or make a choice on the menu if you want a more British breakfast.

For attending the beach there is a private long stair including a small walk but do not expect warm sand beach life due to the famous tide and at summer time busy water sports facilities. Town centre is within 5 minutes of walk and less lively in the evening as the beach area.

Perros-Guirec has next to the more popular seaside part a beautiful end of 19th century architecture, a large beachside (other smaller beaches nearby) and is during holidays a paradise for water sports, especially for children. It is the start of one of the most popular, so busier and more easy ‘sentiers des douaniers’ walks to Ploumanach, along the stunning pink granite rocks.

Modern hotel in lovely setting with stunning views of bay.
Rooms spacious and well equipped with all the latest technology - BUT NO AIR CON!!!!!! Not even an integrated fan or any kind of climate control! Fortunately as we found it unbearable to sleep they were able to find us a portable fan we could use, which was better than nothing! (We paid 350 euros per night for this room!)
Didn't eat in restaurant as we were informed on arrival that it was already fully booked.
Was a little disappointed they didn't have a larger, more comfortable terrace to sit/sunbathe on where we could relax and enjoy the wonderful view.
Staff all very helpful and overall enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Would definitely recommend a room with a sea-view.

The architecture, location, view, and small touches of this hotel were wonderful. The restaurant was good but lacked the exquisite taste, wine list, cheese choices and interest of many Michelin starred restaurants but the dining room and view were great. As mentioned by others before, the staff were pleasant but cold.
The Spa, if you had the audacity to call it that, was a disaster. Do not bother with it. They do not have a clue about a real spa and it seems unconnected to the hotel operation. There was no direction as to where to go, where to sit, where to shower, if they have a sauna or steam room, or anyone who seemed to care at all about helping you figure out where to change or sit. I could not even find a place to get a drink of water, nor did anyone offer any liquids. The message was a joke, geared toward the masseuse using as little effort as possible rather than exerting any effort. It was "a skin touching", not a massage. What a hoax. The hotel is a 4 star, stretched to a 5 star, but the spa takes the reckless attitude of the spa ruins the place being anything above a 3 star.

Dashed across Brittany for a couple of nights R&R.
Our suite was truely stunning, the view breathtaking and the food in the restaurant first class. The selection of fresh fruit in the room and the complimentary well stock (not-so) mini-bar was lovely, and the his and her bathrooms were a joy.
We spent two nights here, both nights we enjoyed Chef's tasting menu - completely different both nights. The meal ends with a (very) large basket of home chocolates being offered. You don't have to eat them - just choose which you would like, and your selection will be in your room before you are.
The pool is a little small for a top spa, but the view from the adjoining terrace more than makes up for it.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Elegance and serenity At the heart of the Pink Granite Coast and facing the Seven Islands Archipelago, L'Agapa is first and foremost a place where everything is done to give priority to the magic of the view: vegetal decoration, fine sandy beach, nature reserve and a protected site for northern gannets. A former hotel of the 1930s, L'Agapa and its two satellite villas, La Désirade and L'Eden Roc, unite modernity with prestige, elegance, harmony and balance. The architecture of the hotel is inspired by the wealth of the Breton environment - a mixture of sea spray and pink granite - but also of more modern materials like glass and steel. Art Deco and contemporary styling are interwoven with elegance in a discreet, understated decor, supplemented by advanced new technology. The priorities of L'Agapa lie in the quality of the service and reception of its guests, ensuring the comfort and well-being of all with a real emphasis on the human aspect. ... more   less
