Thank you Ms. Doreen & Mr Stamp. The experience you gave Us was amazing. The wife and I found heaven. We walked for miles, rested and took in the view and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Great advice on the Hotel Restaurant down the road too. We will never forget discovering heaven.

We stopped for a night only as we headed south but would happily have stayed longer. It's a pleasure to approach down the little country lane (which peters out entirely after the Lodge). The owners have moved from elsewhere in Ireland to make this modern home into a clean, welcoming B&B set in its own neat and tidy garden but which gazes up into the wilds of the Kerry highlands. Fantastic views. Excellent breakfast. No evening meals available but the owners will direct you to the local pub... well fairly local as this is a remote location.

Very, very few B&Bs can quite trump the position of this sublime spot.
The drama unfolds as you approach the driveway and see the steady ascent into Ireland highest peak.
A warm welcome and irish hospitality at its best.
The views from the rear bedrooms are non-existent so if you want to enjoy the ever-changing splendour of the mountains then you’ll have to hope for a dry spell to sit on the benches out front. I suspect the architect didn’t quite expect guests!
Nonetheless, a spotless and splendid location that will make you draw breath.

We stayed in B & B's all over Ireland and this was clearly the best of all. Beautifully appointed home and Tom and Doreen bent over backwards to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, even running us to and from a restaurant for dinner and giving lots of helpful advice and local insights.
