This has to be the most impressive set of canal locks in the UK
A nice gentle stroll by the water not far from the town

Sailed up from Loch Ness to visit Neptunes Staircase, absolutely amazing scenery and views of Ben Nevis. Will definitely return.

Stopped here as part of a tour

Worth a stop for an hour. There is a children’s play area, toilets and a cafe - and of course Neptune’s Staircase!

What a wonderful piece of engineering. Was lucky enough to see some boats coming through. On a sunny day it would be ideal to sit and watch the whole process. Very Interesting
