We stayed here for 3 nights and it was nowhere near long enough. We booked one of the new executive rooms and we were blown away. The bathrooms were spacious and were finished beautifully. The room was large, it had plenty of storage space, a small table and chairs inside and a small table and chairs on the balcony.
The balcony had a perfect view of Ben Nevis, it also overlooked Neptunes staircase (a set of 8 locks to move boats from the canal to the loch and back again) and we could also watch the Jacobite train pass by. It was perfect for just relaxing and watching the world go by.
The breakfast was delicious. There was a large selection of good quality, tasty food (local sausage and stornaway black pudding).
We were very sad to leave the Moorings hotel and we will definitely be back. More
